Answer: Romeo and Juliet

The 'misunderstanding' is caused by Juliet faking her death. Romeo doesn't get the message from the Friar that says Juliet isn't dead, and kills himself. Juliet then finds Romeo dead and uses his dagger to kill herself.

Answer: The Scarlet Letter

The people in the book only found out that she had committed adultery because she suddenly got pregnant. Her husband was not around at the time because he was working in a different city, so they knew it was not his child.

Answer: War of the Worlds

This story was made into a radio broadcast. It was played on the radio in the United States, and the broadcast was changed so the places in England mentioned in the story became places in the U.S. When it played, it caused mass panic because people really thought that aliens were invading.

This is a pretty long book, but it is still a good book. It is told from the point of view of Ishmael, who is a sailor on Captain Ahab's ship.

A good book, it includes some non-fiction chapters that tell what really happened to families during the Great Depression. The rest tells about the fictional family's life. This story is about a school teacher, Ichabod Crane, who moves to the small village of Sleepy Hollow. It is home to the Headless Horseman, who walks the village at night looking for his head. 'Rip Van Wrinkle' is also by this author, telling a story about a man that falls asleep for twenty years.
10. This is a book by the author Jack London. It tells the story of a wolf-dog that slowly becomes more like a pet dog. What is this novel?

Answer: White Fang

The wolf-dog's name is White Fang. His mother was half-dog and half-wolf, while his father was all wolf. When he leaves his family, he gets adopted by Native Americans. After that he ends up with a nice owner who treats him like a pet. Throughout the book, White Fang becomes more and more like a dog instead of a wolf.
