Granny Weatherwax is a witch that has the power of borrowing, where she can leave her body to look after itself. In the meantime, she inhabits the bodies of other animals. She usually uses small birds, but has even borrowed a hive of bees.

Answer: Jonathan Teatime

Jonathan Teatime (pronounced "Teh-ah-time-eh") was a graduate from the assassins guild and undertook the task set by the Auditors of assassinating the Hogfather. He originally joined the Assassins' Guild as a child because of pity when he was left an orphan after his parents suffered a tragic accident. It is now believed that Jonathan may have been the cause of the tragic accident.

Hyperopia is the Goddess of shoes, Pedestriana is the Goddess of feet and pedal dexterity and Bissonomy is an obscure Virtue.

Otto Chriek is the iconographer of the 'Ankh-Morphett Times', and happens to be a vampire. Often, when he uses his salamanders to create a flash, he ends up as a pile of dust, and has to be resurrected using some blood. He wears a vial of blood around his neck, which breaks when he turns to dust, reconstructing him almost instantaneously.

Knatchbull Harrington is the music critic, Tuppence Swivel is literary critic and Grace Speaker runs a pet-food shop but is suspected of being the compiler of the crossword puzzle.

"A prunes" is an example of Dimwell slang (the only rhyming slang that does not rhyme), i.e. Syrup of Prunes - wig.

The Bursar, since the arrival of Mustrum Ridcully the archchancellor has slowly gone insane, and needs to take the dried frog pills as they are actually hallucinogens and the proper dosage should have him hallucinate that he is sane. In 'The Lost Continent', he became a master surfer on the bean pods that their vegetable ship produced.
