Answer: yes

He died in the city in a bordering land that was ruled by King Alessander who was murdered by his son, Prince Ancar. Ancar set up an ambush for Talia and Kris, which they fell victim to. Kris and his Companion, Tantris, were killed.

2. Which two Heralds fetch Talia?

Answer: Dirk and Elspeth

Elspeth 'sees' Talia and Dirk, with Rolan and Ahrodie's help manages to fetch Talia.

3. Who was Kris's uncle?

Answer: Lord Orthallen

Later, it's discovered that he is a traitor to the Crown and Elspeth kills him.

4. Who is the Firestarter?

Answer: Griffon

He saves the day when he kills the creator of the Demons.

No, but she can take away the pain. As an example I present to you when she held Kris as he died. She tried to heal him, but all she could do was take his pain away.

Griffon was discovered and the Council and Teachers talked about Laven Firestorm. He was needed, and saved Valdemar from an invasion. There hasn't been another Firestarted since him, up until Griffon was discovered.
