"Kekkaishi" volumes 1-3 Trivia Quiz

Kekkaishi are people who create barriers in order to seal away Ayakashi to where they cannot escape. Hazama was the creator of the Kekkaishis' techniques.

Throughout the series, Yoshimori is constantly drinking his coffee-flavored milk. He also answered that his favorite school lunch item is coffee-flavored milk in a survey his grandfather found in his backpack in "Chapter 1: Yoshimori and Tokine" in Volume 1.

Shiki, or Shikigami, are guardian/servant spirits that can help clean up any mess left by the Ayakashi after a battle. Hoi designates a target, Metsu destroys a target, and Tenketsu sucks an Ayakashi into a portal of no return.

Due to night work as a Kekkaishi, Yoshimori always sleeps during school and is constantly in trouble. The ghost he meets, Masahiko, was a patissier before he died and helps Yoshimori with making cakes. Yoshimori does not like being a Kekkaishi and wants to destroy Ayakashi so that Tokine won't get injured while fighting them like she did in the first chapter.

Mr. Mino controls three snakes named Roxanne, Simone and Josephine, which are in charge of offense, defense, and healing, respectivley. Madarao is Yoshimori's 500 year-old family demon dog and Habuki is Tokine's 400 year-old demon dog.

Yomi came with her slightly stupid pet demon, Yoki. Yomi was not actually sent by the Shadow Organization, but was running from it, as people showed up from the Organization to arrest her in "Chapter 13: Shadow Oraganization".

Yoki should have been destroyed after his battle with the Kekkaishi, but Yoshimori is generous and saves Yoki, giving him back to Yomi in the end. Koya is Madarao's former friend and current rival in Volume 3.

She caught Yoshimori by drugging some sweets that she and Yoshimori enjoy in a picnic, effectively putting him to sleep. Once Yoshimori regained conciousness, he burst through Yoki's back to help Tokine defeat Yomi and Yuki.

Yurina can see Ayakashi and Kekkai boxes, as well as other spirits. Ayano and Kyoko are her friends, although the last names were made up. Tokiko is Tokine's grandmother, and her last name is also made up.

Its a special rock used to trick Kekkaishi to train even harder than normal in an attempt to break it. By the end of "Chapter 19: A Day in the Life, Part 3", Yoshimori manages to crack the rock!

Shiki are the Shikigami helpers a Kekkaishi can use. Kekkaienenshi and Kikaiashi are both made up words.

Without the collar acting as a seal, Madarao will turn into a giant demon dog. The only way to redo Madarao's seal is to tie all the beads onto a new Nenshi collar and tie it to fit her neck as if she were a normal dog, which can be very painful apparently.

Koya was most likely killed by men, according to Madarao. Koya did not want to leave their mountain, even though there was no more food, and Madarao promptly died.

Their names are plainly listed in the cover art for "Chapter 21: Ginro and Koya". Only Uhosuke is seriously injured. Nagao, Honetaro, and Uhosuke followed Koya around because they were too weak to do anything by themselves.

Yoshimori discovered that Kekkai can actually be moved easily my making them on a newspaper. He uses his discovery to move the cockroach outside and then release it.
