Answer: He was attacked by a shark.

He was attacked by a hammerhead shark and in his last moments, wrote his "will" in the sand for his son John to take care of his wife and three daughters. Unfortunately, John's wife Fanny has other plans for them.

Answer: She was a native tribewoman taken captive by John.

Sir John also took her mother captive, whom everyone called "Mrs. Jennings." Sir John then killed the rest of their tribemates. Lady Middleton is also Sir John's concubine and the mother of their young son.

3. Which one of these characters had tentacles growing out of his face?

According to Elinor Dashwood, his appearance made her feel nauseous.

Margaret eventually returned to normal after she and her family were rescued from the monster.
