1. What bell is the waker?

Answer: Mosrael

Mosrael throughs the ringer farther into death and the listener farther into life. In the book "Abhorsen", Mosrael is represented by the twins, Sayar and Rynelle.
2. What bell is the walker?

Answer: Kibeth

Kibeth lets dead have freedom and movement, or moves that through the next gate. Kibeth, in "Abhorsen", is represented by, well, Kibeth...who is the Disreputable Dog "in a roundabout, hand-me-down sort of way."
3. What bell is the thinking bell?

Answer: Belgaer

Belgaer restores independent thought to the dead. In "Abhorsen" Sam -Sabriel's son- represents Belgaer to help defeat Orannis, which is a spirit to kill everything in the world.
4. What bell can return the voice of the dead?

Answer: Dyrim

Dyrim gives a voice back the dead, or it makes the dead quiet. Dyrim, in "Abhorsen" is represented by Ellimere, who is Sabriel's daughter. It goes quite well with her because she is always talking and giving orders.
5. What bell is the binder?

Answer: Saraneth

Saraneth makes the dead do whatever the wiedler wants. Saraneth, in "Abhorsen" was represented by Sabriel herself.
6. What bell is the sleepbringer?

Answer: Ranna

Ranna is the bell that makes everyone who hears it go to sleep, or get very, very drowsy. Ranna, was represented by Torrigan who is also known as Touchstone. He thought it was very appropriate given he spent about two hundred years as solid wood.
7. What bell is the sorrowful?

Answer: Astarael

Astarael casts anyone who hears it want to leave their bodies and just die. It usually ends up killing the people who hear it, but a few manage to survive by thinking of life. Astarael was represented by Lirael. When the seven bells were rung together it gave "the song of the earth, the moon, the starts, the seat, and the sky, of Life and Death and all that was to be and would be."
8. What was the first bell that imprisoned Mogget?

Answer: Saraneth

Saraneth is the first bell that imprisoned Mogget, which made him a servant to the Abhorsen. Mogget, is actually something called Yrael who was captured by the original seven with Orannis.
9. What was the second bell that imprisoned Mogget?

Answer: Ranna

Ranna was the second bell that imprisoned Mogget. He slept a lot after that happened. In "Abhorsen" Sam set him free and he made the choice of life and decided to help Lirael and Sabriel to oppose Orannis instead of helping Orannis ruin the world by killing everything.
10. What bell is the smallest bell?

Answer: Ranna

Ranna is the smallest and first bell. It's a very sweet sounding bell, and is used in "Sabriel", "Lirael", and "Abhorsen" more than the other bells...except perhaps Saraneth.
