She was a qualified healer, but fell into depression when she lost her husband. She regained her passion for healing eventually and turned her house into an Apothecary. She works in the hospital of District 13 for awhile but ends up working at the District 4 hospital at the end of the series.

Madge is the daughter of the District 12 mayor, and one of Katniss' friends. She and Katniss are often paired together in school. Madge and her family die when the Capitol destroy District 12 with fire bombs.

Delly is a girl, around the same age as Katniss, who comes from District 12. Katniss describes her as "the friendliest person on the planet". Delly and her family survive the fire-bombing of District 12 and move to District 13 where she is used to try to get Peeta out of his state of hypnosis brought on by the Capitol.

She sells soup for the people of District 12. Katniss and Gale trade often with her. She survives the Capitol's destruction of District 12 and is one of the few who move back there at the end of the war. In the movie it is she who gives the Mockingjay pin to Katniss.

Plutarch was the Gamemaker who took over as head Gamemaker in the second book. He was actually the leader of the rebellions in the Districts. He was also behind the plan to escape the arena in the 75th Hunger Games. He was not killed by the Capitol, and went on to work in district 13 to promote the Mockingjay (also known as Katniss).

Answer: Seneca Crane

He was executed because he let both Katniss and Peeta live. In the book it doesn't give details, but in the film he was locked in a room with only Nightlock berries in it. For the 75th Hunger Games, Katniss shows the Judges a dummy hanging with the name Seneca Crane daubed on it, in revenge for his execution.
