She disobeyed King Théoden's command to stay back in Rohan, and chose to ride with the knights. She found herself face-to-face with the Lord of the Nazgûl, and revealed her true self to him before killing the witch-king.
2. Who is the eldest of the dwarf lords, to be reborn in likeness in his descendants?

Answer: Durin

The first Durin was called "the Deathless" because he lived to a very old age. All of his descendants to bear likeness to the first Durin were also named Durin, and all in all there were seven mentioned in Tolkien's works. Durin founded Moria and died before the end of the first age.
