After being left by her husband, Kathy's (Connelly) depression caused her to neglect notices about the property tax on her house. She becomes even more distraught after being evicted from the house, which had been left to her by her father. An Iranian man, Behrani (Ben Kingsley), bought the house at auction, hoping to resell it and regain some of the prestige he had before he had to flee his country. Both Kathy and Behrani feel that the house is the key to their salvation, and neither is willing to let it go.

James Horner received Oscar nominations for his original scores for the movies "House of Sand and Fog", "A Beautiful Mind", "Apollo 13" (my personal favorite of Horner's), "Braveheart", "Field of Dreams" and "Aliens". He won the Oscar at the 1998 awards for his dramatic score of "Titanic", as well as Best Original Song for "My Heart Will Go On" (shared with Will Jennings).

In addition to scoring the movies included in questions 1-9, Horner has also composed the scores to "The Mask of Zorro", "Enemy at the Gates", "The Perfect Storm", "Legends of the Fall", "Courage Under Fire" and "Jumanji", among many others. Seven Ron Howard movies, including "Willow" and "Cocoon", have had scores composed by James Horner. Of the nine movies named, Ron Howard directed "A Beautiful Mind" and "Apollo 13", while Phil Alden Robinson directed "Sneakers" and "Field of Dreams". Oscar-nominated cinematographer Caleb Deschanel did not work on any of the correct movies mentioned.
