Answer: Chocolat

"Chocolat" follows the changes in a small French town after the arrival of a rather unusual woman, Vianne (played by Juliette Binoche) and her daughter. Vianne's progressive and independent ways stand at odds with the Mayor, Le Compte de Renard, played by Alfred Molina. Vianne's Chocolatrie inspires the townspeople to abandon the oppressive traditions and pursue happiness and fulfillment. Unlike previous towns Vianne has lived in, this one offers her the key to her own happiness and fulfillment. "Chocolat" was nominated for five Academy Awards, however did not win any.

It contains an all-star cast and is directed by Swedish director Lasse Hallstrom, who happened to be married to Lena Olin at the time.
