Be Sure to Watch for "First Snow" Quiz

Jimmy admits that he is still selling flooring, but that he will be breaking out on his own with the jukeboxes in a few months time. His jukeboxes do prove to be pretty popular and his boss Roy later decides to invest in them.

Answer: Touches the other person's hands.

Jimmy is only at the fortune teller because he is bored. He readily agrees to holding hands, if it will help the teller, although he is skeptical and mocking of any psychic abilities.

Answer: Dallas

After stating this, the fortune teller encounters something that scares him and forces him to let go of Jimmy's hands. He then refuses to go any further, although Jimmy insists. The teller even returns the money that Jimmy had paid him.

Answer: To fire Lopez.

There is an audit, and Lopez gets caught padding his accounts. Roy calls Jimmy and has him fire Lopez. Lopez gets upset, but Jimmy couldn't seem to care less about his supposed friend.

Answer: Safe

The fortune teller says that he is able to see roads in Jimmy's life until first snow, at which point he sees no more roads, no more tomorrows. Jimmy jokes that he should probably pack up and move to Florida. He laughs it off, but soon gets worried, since the fortune teller has already been right with some of the things that he's said.

Answer: A childhood friend of Jimmy's.

Jimmy isn't too excited to have any contact or even information regarding Vincent. He decides that Vincent is behind the anonymous threats that he has been receiving. So then Jimmy visits Vincent's mother and finds out where Vincent is staying.

Answer: A handgun.

The handgun deeply concerns Jimmy because he is convinced Vincent has been making anonymous threats against him. Vincent shows up while Jimmy is still in the room, and Jimmy keeps Vincent from unlocking the door. When Vincent goes for the landlord, Jimmy sneaks out, and purchases his own handgun.

Answer: A snow flurry.

Jimmy doesn't even take the cigarettes with him. He holes himself up in a motel room and peeks outside through a small hole in his window shade. He listens to the radio which informs that a massive cold front is building, and there could be up to ten inches of snow.

Answer: His handgun.

We don't know if he picks up the handgun again, but it never appears again in the movie, so it is quite possible that he leaves it there. At this point, Jimmy embraces the fact that the first snow has happened, and there is nothing he can do about it.

Answer: Jimmy sells Vincent out to the Feds.

They had been money laundering together, and get caught. Jimmy does finally express remorse for selling Vincent out to the Feds. Vincent ends up serving three years in prison because of Jimmy's betrayal. Jimmy is surprised that he doesn't die.


Here is a tough question: Did you notice the last vehicle to drive over the skidmarks in the final scene of the movie? It is the fortune teller's green pickup and trailer.

I hope you enjoyed "First Snow", I know that I really did. I enjoyed the plot and the filming, with the flashbacks and flashforwards.
