Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The film opened cheerfully, with children playing everywhere, in what seemed to be a quiet Texas town. Luther Phelps, a young boy was ready to go to school. After boarding the bus, his dad, the local Reverend was kidnapped for an initially unknown reason. Apart from kidnapping the Reverend, what else did the kidnappers do?

Answer: Burnt down the church.

Immediately after Luther left on the school bus, a group of unseen assailants placed a bag over the Reverend's head and lit a fire with a newspaper. They threw three Molotov Cocktails into the church and watched it burn to the ground. The Reverend was taken to a secret hideout, where a large group of neo-Nazis resided.

They were angered at Mr. Phelps because he supported racial equality. They tricked him into being allowed to leave. Before he could get far, they smashed him with a baseball bat until he died.

While that occurred, a peaceful school choir was in session, where the recently deceased man's son was singing.
2. Tommy Lee was traveling to Texas to be with one of his relatives. What relation to Tommy did the person have?

Answer: Sister

A plot-hole in the first two films never indicated that Tommy had a sister, only a deceased brother. Tommy was to travel south, to Texas, from his home in Nevada. After his car broke down, Tommy went into a local cafe and was faced by a group of racist men.

He decided not to fight them. As he walked down the road, the town Sheriff intercepted him. Although it initially seemed to be a bad thing, it turned out that the Sheriff was Tommy's sister's husband. Tommy was asked to help them through a difficult time with the presence of a large group of neo-Nazis.
3. To prepare for Tommy Lee's arrival, Tommy's relative prepared a rather unpleasant meal for his arrival. What did the relative make?

Answer: Liver and onions

Tommy greeted his sister, after arriving at her home and then proceeded to talk to his nephew, Justin. Tommy also tried to talk to Luther, but Luther seemed quiet, disinterested and sad because of his father's disappearance. Tommy tried to cheer him up, but to no avail. He did manage to make everyone laugh, when he made some comical noises of discontent towards his sister's meal.
4. To cut away from Tommy for a short while, the film shifted to the perspective of an unfortunate family in the outskirts of the town called Liberty. A local woman's boy, named Owen Tucker, decided to take off after joining the neo-Nazis. Although she initially thought that he had simply gone mad she soon discovered the truth of why he was leaving. How did she discover his affiliation to the neo-Nazis?

Answer: He flinched when she touched his shoulder revealing a Nazi symbol burned into it.

Owen Tucker was a very troubled boy, and it was indicated from the start of the film. Owen ran off and went to a neo-Nazi hideout to become one of them. They shaved his head and then burned their official logo into his left shoulder. He headed home to get his things and then proceeded back to the Nazi compound.

He never seemed to be fully converted to hate people, as he seemed to emphasize discontent and unease with the group's activities.
5. After offering to go with his relative into town, Tommy went into the local shop to buy some groceries. While he was doing that, the three people, waiting in the car, were attacked by a group of neo-Nazis. Why did Tommy's relative and the two kids go to town in the first place?

Answer: To get some ice cream

After buying their ice-cream from Mr. Morgan's ice-cream shop, the two kids, Luther and Justin waited in the car with Tommy's sister, Karen. As they waited, a group of neo-Nazis wearing masks and wielding baseball bats smashed the car while repeating several racist remarks. As soon as Tommy got out of the grocery store, he beat up all of the attackers.
6. According to Tommy Lee's relative, he had "volunteered" to help with the town's 4H fair. What was Tommy's role at the fair?

Answer: Clown at the dunk tank

As Tommy was sitting on the stand above the dunk tank, a child tried to hit the target but could not. Tommy jokingly mocked that the kid could not hit him. The local school teacher, Ms. Margo Preston bought the last ball from the child and threw a direct hit that knocked Tommy into the water.

After that, Ms. Preston was being harassed by a group of hate supporters. Tommy intervened when the confrontation escalated and comically beat up the attackers while wearing his clown suit, clown nose, and extra large clown shoes.

He defeated Owen Tucker, as well.
7. A racist preacher referred to as Mr. Brian, who believed in the Nazi cause, decided to purchase a large lot near city limits. Despite his Nazi goons trying to intimidate the townsfolk, one of the townspeople were brave enough to speak out against him. Who was it?

Answer: Ms. Preston

Immediately before asking if anyone objected to Mr. Brian's purchase of the land, a large group of neo-Nazis showed up to intimidate the people. Miss Preston, the lady from the carnival, was not scared so she showed her discontent towards Mr. Brian. All of the townsfolk joined in and she was officially on the Nazi's blacklist.

The purchase was never completed due to the people's negative outlook on him.
8. After the town meeting, Tommy Lee dropped off Ms. Preston at her pleasantly scenic home. She discussed how the killing of Brakus, in "Best of the Best 2" was done because Tommy did what he had to do. Realizing her wisdom, Tommy snuck into the Nazi compound and discovered that they had acquired some new items to fight their racial war. What did they get, by the truckloads?

Answer: Illegal firearms and explosives

Before leaving her house, Tommy and Ms. Preston conversed about the events of "Best of the Best 2". They talked of how Travis Brickley's death was the reason that Tommy quit teaching and how the murder of Brakus was done because no other choice existed.

When Tommy finally went to the compound, he did not expect to find that the neo-Nazis were stockpiling supplies of machine guns and plastic explosives so they could kill everyone who was a different color than them. During Tommy's mission, Preacher Brian the original leader of the racist movement, was murdered by a man even more evil than him, Donnie Hansen.
9. Despite Tommy Lee's efforts going towards saving Ms. Preston from the neo-Nazis, a separate contingent of them attacked Tommy's relative and took something with them. What did the neo-Nazis take from Tommy's relative?

Answer: The two boys, Luther Phelps and Justin Banning

To retaliate for Tommy's actions, at the compound, the racist men attacked Karen and kidnapped Luther and her son, Justin. While that occurred, Tommy was busy defending Ms. Preston from a group of attackers who wanted to get back at her for opposing their business venture. Tommy successfully defended her, but ended up being unable to protect his sister.
10. After virtually destroying the racist organization's entire compound, Tommy was forced to go face to face with the Nazi leader, Donnie Hansen. After a surprisingly balanced fight, the leader was eventually killed. How was he killed?

Answer: The runaway child, Owen Tucker shot him.

After blowing up the facility, Tommy was being hunted by the Nazi leader. Hansen's initial plan to kill Tommy was to shoot him with a mini-gun. He could not hit Tommy with any of his shots, so he resorted to fighting with a knife. Tommy and he were a relatively equal match-up, until Tommy saw some inspiration and knocked him out.

After trying to walk away, all of the neo-Nazis were told to shoot Tommy. None listened to their recently defeated leader. Seeing as his men didn't listen, the leader grabbed a weapon and was ready to shoot Tommy. Tommy was prepared for it when all of a sudden Owen Tucker shot him in the back, saving Tommy's life.
