Answer: Chicken Little

In the 2005 film, Chicken Little starts off by causing panic in the town when he mistakes a falling acorn landing on his head for a piece of sky. He then tries to restore his reputation (successfully) only to have to put it at risk again.

There are actually two movies with this title, both produced by Walt Disney. The 1943 version is based on the fable; the 2005 version is only loosely so.

Answer: The Birds

Starting off as a romance, the viewer's attention is slowly captured by the increasingly savage behaviour of the local bird population.

Based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier, this film was released in 1963. It featured Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor. A 1994 TV movie sequel "The Birds II: Land's End" has Tippi Hedren in a supporting role.

The 1968 novel "A Kestrel for a Knave" provides the basis for this award winning film directed by Ken Loach. Training Kes, the kestrel, provides a focus for Billy and begins to turn his life around.

Answer: Treasure Island

Having found a treasure map, young Jim Hawkins joins the crew of a ship to seek it. Things get complicated when, led by Long John Silver, some of the crew mutiny when they arrive at the island.

Quite a few "Treasure Island" films have been made over the years, based on the Robert Louis Stevenson book of 1883. There have also been a number of spin-off books written by various authors such as the 1924 prequel "Porto Bello Gold" and a 1935 sequel "Back to Treasure Island".

Answer: The Crow

Eric Draven, resurrected, guided and protected by the mysterious crow, enforces his own form of violent justice in a Gothic-style action movie.

This was martial artist Brandon Lee's last film. He died following an accidental shooting during filming. He was the son of Bruce Lee, actor and martial artist, who died whilst working on the film "Enter the Dragon". Brendon was eight years of age at the time of Bruce Lee's death. "The Crow" spawned several sequels.

Answer: Fly Away Home

Living with her father, Amy discovers an abandoned nest of goose eggs. She becomes the adopted mother of the goslings and takes on the responsibility for helping them migrate south for the winter.

After pondering whether it was possible, Canadian inventor and ultralight pilot Bill Lishman managed to get some geese to imprint on his aircraft in order to change their migration route. He was then involved in the film as a technical consultant and stunt pilot. The story is loosely based on his own experiences which you can read about in his book 'Father Goose: One Man, a Gaggle of Geese, and Their Real Life Incredible Journey South'.

Answer: Madagascar

The movie charts the adventures of some pampered New York zoo animals who land up in Madagascar and have to learn to fend for themselves.

The penguins featured in their own short called "The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper" which was included in some DVD editions of "Madagascar" and "Shrek".

Answer: Surf's Up

This 'documentary' follows the trail of a surfer penguin called Cody Maverick as he enters his first pro surfing competition, learning some of life's lessons on the way.

As is common these days, a whole range of merchandising products were sold following the launch of the film. This included toys, books, puzzles, video games, themed clothes and bed linen. According to "The Economist", as little as 20% of revenue can come from ticket sales of the movies themselves.

Answer: Rio

Blu, a domesticated and rare macaw, journeys to Rio de Janeiro in order to meet Jewel, the only other one of his species. There follows a series of unplanned adventures during which he has to confront his fear of flying.

It is reported that the film was originally intended to be about a penguin being washed up on a beach in Rio de Janeiro. However, on learning that the films "Happy Feet" and "Surf's Up" were in production, the concept was changed.

Answer: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Back at Hogwart's at the start of a new school year, Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione are soon involved in investigating the cause of the mysterious petrification of several students and Mrs Norris the cat.

Another nugget of information - the wands of both Harry Potter and his enemy Lord Voldemort contained tail feathers from Fawkes.
