Answer: Light Yagami

Light Yagami is the main character in both movies. Light is a very intelligent 17 year old, who is very bored. But when he discovers the Death Note, he decides to use it to kill all the criminals in the world.

Answer: Souichiro

Souichiro is the leader of the investigation team under L's command. At the end of the second movie, he is responsible for the plan to capture Kira, who turns out to be his son, Light.

Answer: L Lawliet

You find it out when L writes his own name in the Death Note. You can't see his whole name, but in alternate scenes, you can see different parts of his name. For example, in one scene, you can see 'L', while in another you can see 'Lawliet'. Light spends a significant amount of time during the movie trying to find this out.

Answer: Jealous

This occurs when she leaves the studio, and is being followed by a crazed fan, who attempts to stab her. However, Jealous kills Ryotaro before he could kill Misa. Jealous is a God of Death, otherwise known as a Shinigami. All he did every day was watch Misa from the Shinigami realm.

Answer: Shusuke Kaneko

Shusuke Kaneko directed both movies in Japan, and the executive producer was Seiji Okuda. He also directed movies such as 'Who Do I Choose?' and 'Pride'.

Answer: Ryuk

Ryuk is Light's Shinigami. Rem is Misa's Shinigami, and the other two answers are still in the Shinigami realm. Ryuk 'accidentally' drops his Death Note into the human realm, because he is bored in the shinigami realm.

Answer: Consomme

Light is the only person in his family who likes Consomme flavoured chips. L also eats this flavour. Light explains to Ryuk that by choosing a potato chip flavour that only he likes, he is able to put a mini LCD inside it to continue killing criminals while being under surveillance by L.

Answer: Japan

It was made in Japan, as well as being set there. The director, Shusuke Kaneko, chartered an underground train station for the film, and there were over 500 extras in the train scene.

Answer: Light

Light addmitted himself to confinement, as he believed he was Kira. Misa was taken there forcefully, as the Taskforce believed she was the second Kira.

Answer: Sayu

Light's sister's name is Sayu. You can see her name written in Japanese on her bedroom door, but Light also calls it out after the Sakura TV riot. Sayu's role is unimportant, as she is not one of the significant characters throughout the movie.
