Things get really complicated when she discovers that she's really in love with his brother.
4. (2002)It's good to be back at school, even though some annoying little house Elf has done his best to keep you from going. But there's some mysterious monster attacking students (and Mrs. Norris and Nearly Headless Nick), and everyone thinks you're controlling it because you can talk to snakes.
5. (1958) James Stewart plays an ex-cop hired by a friend to watch the bizarre behaviour of his wife, in this movie by Hitchcock. Stewart finds himself falling in love with the mysterious lady, and is so devastated when she kills herself in front of him...or does she? He's very confused to find a another young lady who is so much like the dead woman that he begins to doubt what he thought he saw.
6. (1990) This is a classic Cinderella story, except that she's a hooker and he's a multi-millionaire who's made his fortune on other people's misfortune. She teaches him to be more human, he takes her off the street and everybody's happy, except for his lawyer.
7. (1991) Jeff Bridges was a radio talk show star, until some chance remark he made caused someone to open fire in a nightclub, killing several people. Racked with guilt, he disappears into a bottle where he meets Robin Williams, a man who's life was ruined when his wife was killed in that nightclub. Bridges thinks he can ease his guilt by giving Williams money, but it turns out to be not quite that easy.
8. (1990) Sam loves Molly and Molly loves Sam, until someone shoots and kills Sam while stealing his wallet one night. But Sam isn't ready to go, especially after he discovers that his best friend was responsible for his killing and his beloved Molly is now in danger.
9. (1993) When his wife dies he moves his son across the country and tries, not very successfully, to rebuild their lives. His son phones in to a radio help show and the next thing he knows letters are pouring in from all over the country. None of them seem very promising, except one, and the boy makes arrangements to meet her on top of the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day.
10. (1994) Believing himself to be responsible for the death of his father, a young lion flees, finding refuge with a meercat and warthog. This leaves his evil uncle to rule the pride and lay waste to their land, until he is convinced to come back and claim what is rightfully his.
11. (1992) Jack Ryan is a former CIA agent who just can't sit back and watch an assassination attempt without helping out. Unfortunately the brother of the terrorist he killed wants revenge, and things are never the same again for the Ryan family.
12. (2000) An FBI agent has to go undercover in the Miss United States pageant to protect the contestants from bomb threats. But the only available agent is anything but willing, and a massive makeover has got to happen first. Michael Caine is very funny as the consultant who has the thankless job of getting her ready to compete.
13. (1990) Rusty is the District Attorney's right hand man, so when one of the D.A.'s staff is murdered, Rusty is assigned to investigate the case. But the evidence starts to pour in and it begins to look like Rusty killed his former lover, or did he?
14. (1984) JoBeth Williams plays a frustrated housewife who, after suffering a head injury, believes she is a character from her favourite detective series. She runs around Paris dragging other people into her little fantasy, and somehow manages to uncover a real intrigue. Tom Conti plays the man who writes the books, who she believes is also a character from the stories, and is one of the people she drags into her adventure.
15. (1993) He started out by using them as cheap labour in his factories, but when he saw the way they were persecuted during the war, he dedicated his life to saving as many Jews as he could. This incredibly powerful movie by Spielberg shows us just how much difference one righteous man can make.
