They were a tight group of friends who always referred to themselves as the Groovers. Most of the members were care free. They were Kevin Costner as Gardner Barnes, Judd Nelson as Phil Hicks, Sam Robards as Kenneth Waggener, Chuck Bush as Dorman and Brian Cesak as Lester.

The rest of the guys took him everywhere they went - he was either crammed in the Caddy, or they carried him along. He didn't come to until the last five minutes of the movie. Easiest money that guy ever made.

They went on a quest to dig up Dom. The Groovers buried it on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande and vowed only to dig it up for a special occasion. Since they graduated and most of them were heading to Vietnam, they thought they would never get another chance. It was a pivotal "coming of age" scene.

The father of one of the girls owned a graveyard. As they were shooting fireworks at each other, two of the guys who were drafted dove for cover right on top of a grave marker for someone killed in Vietnam. It was a sobering moment for them as the fireworks erupted around them.

They were disappointed because they were expecting more. Most of the set was in ruins. If you'd like to see the set of "Giant", it is between Valentine and Marfa Texas on Highway 90.

The pilot's wife put the laundry in an empty parachute bag. Phil mistakenly grabbed the wrong bag. He was terrified and practically frozen with fear once he found out. That lady was mad that all her laundry was all over the desert. The hangar where the airstrip is located actually housed the Enola Gay, the aircraft that dropped the bomb on Japan.

Answer: Truman picked her up.

They said there was only one man who could get her there on time. The local police tried to get Truman to land because he was flying erratically. Truman outwitted them and began driving the plane down the highway.

Answer: It got ripped off by a train.

The guys ran out of gas on a desolate road. They grew tired of pushing the car and decided to tie a cable to the front end of the Caddy and lassoed the other end around a passing train. Right before the front end was ripped off, one of them asked "How're we gonna stop?". Funniest part of the movie!
