Slimer is a digitally created actor who appears in "Ghostbusters" 1 and 2. Slimer is green and we first meet him at the Sedgewick Hotel, on the 12th floor. The first official call the Ghostbusters received is because of Slimer. The ghost lady in the New York Library happens before Ray, Peter, and Egon become official Ghostbusters.

Louis has guests over for his party and takes their coats. When he puts their coats in the bedroom he throws them on a creature, making it angry. This is funny and interesting. The Ghostbusters split up to cover more ground. Ray finds himself alone and finds Slimer filling his mouth with food. Then Slimer notices Ray is there and flies away through a wall. Then Slimer tries to scare Peter, flying right into Peter and getting slime on him.

The Ghostbusters are forced to choose the destroyer of mankind. Ray thinks of the marshmallow man, because when he was a child they were his favorite marshmallows. The Ghostbusters defeat the Stay Puft marshmallow man and in doing so melt him, getting marshmallow on themselves.
