Elvis rocketed to fame in the early 1950s when his upbeat style became popular with teens. This led to roles in 31 feature films like "King Creole", "Jailhouse Rock" and "Kid Galahad". In this movie, the plot involved Presley as a poor fishing guide whot wants to start his own business. Meanwhile, he is involved in a love triangle with two women played by Stella Stevens and Laurel Goodwin. Elvis gets to sing "A Boy Like Me, A Girl Like You" and "Return To Sender" amongst other songs in this tuneful musical.
2. Who directed the MGM studio movie "Les Girls" (1957)?

"Les Girls" starred Kelly, but was directed by Cukor, who was nominated five times for Academy Awards. His only win was in 1965 for "My Fair Lady". He is often cited as being a "women's director" because many of his films were focused on strong female characters.

The plot of "Les Girls" centers on a female dancer who decides to write an exposé of her days as a dance hall entertainer. The movie shows the theme from the viewpoints of three people involved.

This movie won several awards - ASCAP Film and Television Music Award, Blockbuster Entertainment Award, The Bogey Award and The Golden Screen. It was nominated, but received no wins for The Golden Globes, Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Film, The Casting Society of America, The Satellite Award and Young Artist Award.

This film stars Don Ameche as the professor of psychology, John Hathaway, who wants to publish a book on the theme of jealousy to disprove it. He isn't the jealous type as evidenced by his lack of response to other men's attentions to his wife, Julie (Rosalind Russell). Julie can't understand John's attitude since she becomes jealous when she sees John embracing his publisher's assistant, Nellie (Kay Francis) although the reason was innocent.

This leads to a free-for-all between John, his publisher (Donald Meek), Julie and Nellie.

This seems to change John's attitude and when another man makes a pass at Julie, he begins to understand what jealousy is.

He campaigned to make the movie after presenting the script of "The Front Page", the play on which the movie is based, at a cocktail party and had some guests read through it. After hearing a woman read the part of Hildy, which was originally a male role, he changed that character's gender for the film.

This line is said by Roberts to Gere when they start to have feelings for each other and she confides that to him. She reveals her unhappy childhood and even in the present, she is ignored or ridiculed by shop clerks and business people.
