"Eddie the Eagle" is a 2016 film that tells the story of Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards, a British ski jumper. Taron Egerton plays Eddie while Hugh Jackman plays Bronson Peary, the snow groomer at Eddie's training facility. As a young boy, Eddie dreams of becoming an Olympian and sets his mind on ski jumping because it will be easier for him to qualify for that sport since it is not popular in the United Kingdom and few British athletes partake in it. Eddie is bullied by the expert ski jumpers from other countries at his training center in Germany. Peary advises Eddie to quit since he cannot take the pressure but Eddie decides to carry on anyway.
2. The Duke of Albany, a time traveler

"Kate & Leopold" is a 2001 romantic film starring Hugh Jackman as Leopold, the Duke of Albany and Meg Ryan as Kate McKay. Leopold is an aristocratic British man who lives in 1876. His noble family is in desperate need of money but Leopold would rather dream about love and science rather than focus on his title.

After he falls into temporal rift, after trying to save the physicist Stuart Besser (Liev Schreiber), Leopold is transported to 2001 New York City where he meets and falls in love with Kate, a modern career woman.

"Prisoners" is a 2013 thriller starring Hugh Jackman as Keller Dover and Jake Gyllenhaal as Detective Loki. On Thanksgiving, Dover's daughter Anna (Erin Gerasimovich) and her friend Joy (Kyla-Drew Simmons) disappear after being seen approaching an RV.

The driver of the RV, Alex Jones (Paul Dano) is arrested but Loki cannot find any evidence the girls where near him and releases Alex. Dover, however, takes matters into his own hands and abducts and tortures Alex both for revenge and to gain information.
4. Jean Valjean, former prisoner

"Les Miserables" is a 2012 musical starring Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, a former prisoner who breaks his parole and is on the run from Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe) in post-Revolutionary War France. A few years later, Valjean has established himself as a factory owner in a small town when Javert shows up as the new police inspector. Valjean tries to hide his identity but Javert is suspicious. Meanwhile, Fantine (Anne Hathaway) turns to prostitution to support her daughter Cosette (Amanda Seyfried). Valjean begins to help Fantine but Inspector Javert makes things difficult.

Hugh Jackman was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his role in this film but lost to Daniel Day-Lewis for "Lincoln".
5. Charlie Kenton, a boxer who builds robots

"Real Steel" is a 2011 science fiction film starring Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a former boxer. Charlie was well on his way to becoming a champion boxer until boxers were largely replaced by giant robots. Charlie then becomes a trainer for the boxing robots that he builds from scrap metal.

He teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) and build Atom, who they hope will be able to earn Charlie redemption.
6. James Howlett, a.k.a. Wolverine, a mutant superhero

Ginger's boss Gabriel Shear promises Stanley a new life with his daughter if he can successfully hack into another government account worth nearly $10 billion in unused money which will then be used to fight terrorism.

"The Prestige" is a 2006 film starring Hugh Jackman as Robert Angier and Christian Bale as Alfred Borden. Angier and Borden are magicians who once worked a show together under the tutorage of another magician. However, their friendship dissolves over perfecting a trick called the Real Transported Man and they become rivals.

The rivalry is a bitter one and the magicians try to out do each other. During a trick, Angier's wife Julia (Piper Perabo) dies and Angier blames Borden. Years later, Angier also dies performing a trick and Borden goes on trial for his murder.
9. Roddy, a rich rat who "moves" to the sewers

Answer: Flushed Away

"Flushed Away" is a 2006 animated film starring Hugh Jackman as the voice of Roddy. Roddy was once a rich rat who lived in a lavish home until he is accidentally flushed down the toilet and forced to live in the sewers. In the sewers, Roddy is trying a find a way home when he meets Rita (Kate Winslet), a street-smart rat.

They are chased by The Toad's (Ian McKellen) henchmen whose boss wishes to see the sewer free of rats and mice.
10. Peter Lyman, a possible serial killer

"Scoop" is a 2006 film starring Ian McShane as Joe Strombel. Joe is a recently-deceased journalist who was investigating a series of murders committed by the so-called Tarot Card Killer. Joe is stuck in limbo and learns from a woman there that her boss, Peter Lyman (Hugh Jackman) may be the Tarot Card Killer. Joe communicates with Sondra Pransky (Scarlett Johansson), a living journalist and guides her toward Lyman. Woody Allen also stars as Sid Waterman, a magician aiding Sondra.
