In true Ernest style, this movie is filled with slapstick comedy galore, as Santa retires but names a washed-up children's show host as his successor. Then the real Santa lands in jail, and only Ernest can save him.

"Elf" stars Will Ferrell as Buddy, with James Caan as his human father and Bob Newhart as his elf father. When Buddy finds out he is not a real elf, he heads to New York to find his real father. While there, he works at Gimble's department store, transforms it overnight and eventually finds a job at his father's company, in the mail room.

Both the cartoon and the Carrey movie are based on the book of the same name by Dr. Seuss. It is about a mean old Grinch who steals Christmas from the Whos. Howard Langston (Schwarzenegger) promises his son a Turbo Man for Christmas, not realizing that it is the hottest toy around, and nearly impossible to get. But a promise is a promise. "Jingle All the Way" also stars Phil Hartman, Rita Wilson, Sinbad and Jake Lloyd.

"Love Actually" stars Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney and Alan Rickman, to name a few.
