While Steve Trevor was mentioned several times in the movie, the character never appeared. Steve Trevor was killed several decades before the timeline of this movie. He died during the events of "Wonder Woman" which was the DC Comics movie released immediately before "Justice League".

Batman was the only member of the team in the movie without any type of powers. All of his advantages were because of his wealth and smarts. At one point, when asked, he even told Barry Allen that being rich was his super power. Aquaman had powers related to the sea, along with super strength. Wonder Woman was descended from the gods, The Flash had super speed, Cyborg had implants that gave him advanced powers, Superman was an alien with many powers, then there was Batman and his gadgets.

Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, was portrayed as one of the stronger members of the team in the movie, second only to Superman. She went head-to-head with Superman during his resurrection. She was the one who managed to destroy Steppenwolf's axe, effectively defeating him. With the axe destroyed he showed fear, the fear had his own minions attack him.

Martha Kent had sold the house that Clark had grown up in. She said it was just too big for her alone. At the end of the movie, Clark was resurrected; he and Bruce were standing near the house. Clark asked how Bruce got it back from the bank and Bruce replied that he bought the bank.
