In the very beginning, after "Big Daddy" appears, Riley appears followed by Kid. He is the main character of our story. He strives to get out of the green and go north to Canada where there are no people, thus no zombies.

While Riley and Charlie are wandering around the slums, there is a small scene with a photo booth. One of the zombies is actor Simon Pegg. George Romero was a huge fan of "Shaun of the Dead" so he wanted to add these characters to show his appreciation.

Foxy wanted to take the shot, but Chollo saves himself first. It is Kid who gets bitten and then shot about five minutes later. Foxy is mad because he wanted to take the shot. This scene shows the audience that Chollo can take care of himself and needs no one.

Just after talking to Chollo, Kaufman wipes his nose as he says this. This I suppose was added as part of a comic relief, and in honor of Romero who didn't call them zombies when "Night of the Living Dead" made its debut.

Riley says this as he is explaining the sky flowers to Charlie just before the raid. Riley has lost his faith, but Charlie still seems to believe there is a God even after all this chaos has occured.

The original title for the film was"Dead Reckoning". Dead Reckoning is the reason Riley must go on one last mission. It also becomes his means of escape from the green.

Pretty Boy isn't a huge character in the movie, but without her Dead Reckoning never would have gotten around. Pretty Boy seems to be neutral throughout the whole movie, but ends up joining Riley after Chollo gets kicked out.

You only get a chance to see this once in the film. Just after Number 1 is killed, the zombies throw his board in the river and for a brief second you can see it in the cut-out section of the grip tape. This has no real relevence to the film, but is good useless trivia for the hardcore fans.

Just after he gets scared by the child zombie, he rolls backwards and is grabbed by a clown zombie. This scene shows some of the amazing make-up for the movie.

For a very brief moment you can see Santa Zombie. Just before Riley lowers the bridge there is a shot of all the zombies on the side of Dead Reckoning. You can clearly see Santa Zombie in the middle of the crowd. I suppose Romero wanted to show that truly no body, not even Santa, was safe.
