Played by Fred Armisen, the character credited as "Creepy Italian Guy" continuously apologises for his over-eagerness to get close to the friends by saying "mi scusi", the Italian for "excuse me". However his apologies appear to be somewhat insincere, as he uses the darkness of the tunnels the train goes through to once again get uncomfortably closer to poor old Jamie.

Perhaps more famous for being an actor, having starred in such classic TV shows as "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch", David Hasselhoff has actually enjoyed reasonable pop success, being particularly popular in Germany. The song he sings (in German) during Scotty's dream sequence is called "Du" which is German for "You".

Run by Madame Vandersexxx (played by Lucy Lawless), Club Vandersexxx is billed as being "The Red Light District's Hottest Sex Club", however despite his initial excitement, Cooper quickly realises that his sex club experience is not going to be exactly as he had imagined it would.

The camera shop clerk, Anna, is clearly impressed by Jamie's Leica M7 camera and Jamie's knowledge of photography, and invites Jamie to "step out back and have a cigarette", although neither of them smoke! Despite being relieved of his money belt by an opportunistic thief, Jamie definitely ends up having a more enjoyable evening than his travelling buddies.

Answer: Bratislava

The capital of Slovakia, Bratislava is initially portrayed in the movie as being grim and rundown, however when the friends realise the (albeit completely exaggerated for comedy effect) somewhat favourable exchange rate, they quickly make the most of their unplanned stop off in Eastern Europe.

Although the brother and sister are both very drunk, they really should have been more careful as to who they hooked up with! A nightmare for them, it does provide Scotty and Cooper with some humour, and the opportunity to once again state that "They really are the worst twins ever".

Answer: Jamie sells his camera

Yes, Jamie sells his beloved Leica M7 for the good of the mission to find Mieke. When Scotty asks him "But what about your photo tour of Europe, what about the chateaus?", Jamie replies "Chateaus have been there for 300 years, Mieke's gone in 12 hours". Truly a team player!

Answer: Mitre

Cooper puts on the traditional Catholic headgear and proceeds to accidentally lean into lit candles, thereby setting the mitre on fire. He discards the burning "pope hat" (as Scotty calls it) into the fireplace, causing whites smoke to spew from the chimney, thus advising the people of Rome that the new Pope has been elected.

Answer: I got kidnapped by English soccer hooligans

Although technically Scotty and Cooper did get put on a tour bus against their knowledge by the English soccer hooligans, this resulted in them getting across the English Channel and into mainland Europe, thereby enabling them to continue with their quest to find Mieke, so Scotty is unlikely to talk about being kidnapped.

He did, however, mention all of the other listed events, as well as the brother and sister making out incident, all of which we see happen earlier in the movie.

Whilst on the phone to Cooper, there is a knock on the door of Scotty's dorm room. Imagine Scotty's surprise when he opens the door and finds Mieke standing there. Mieke advises Scotty that she is going to college here, and has been allocated the same dorm room as Scotty. Scotty enquires, "How is this possible?" to which Mieke replies, "I guess they thought I was a guy".

In a self-deprecating flashback to the start of the movie, Scotty states, "Now who would be dumb enough to make a mistake like that," and the two make out.
