Answer: Professor Anderson

Josh is hoping to get an extension on his mid-term, so he calls Professor Anderson's office, however it's not Professor Anderson, but rather the teaching assistant, Jacob, who answers the phone. Realising that he is speaking to his rival for Beth's affections, Jacob deepens his voice and pretends to be Professor Anderson, a ruse that Josh unfortunately falls for, and confirms that Josh can have an extra three days, which, of course, is not true, as Josh finds out later in the movie.

Answer: He knows the Xi Chi handshake.

The guy who opens the door is clearly unconvinced that Rubin and the guys are part of the Xi Chi fraternity, but when Rubin does the Xi Chi handshake with him, he relents, and lets the guys in. Rubin and the others soon realise Rubin's oversight, however, as when they enter the dining hall where the fraternity members are enjoying their dinner, it is clear, as pointed out by E.L. that "this is a national black fraternity...they know you're not a member".

Answer: Rhonda

Rhonda has a somewhat fuller body type than Kyle and is clearly more experienced than our poor naive college boy, so she is more than happy to take control of things. The experience clearly does Kyle the world of good, however, as he appears the following morning with a new found swagger, much to the amusement of his fellow road-trippers and the Xi Chi fraternity.

Answer: Josh and E.L.

The receptionist advises the boys that she needs to ask them a few questions, and then, if they qualify, they can make a sperm deposit, further advising that they should be honest with their answers, because if they don't tell the truth the test will and they won't get paid. Due to activities earlier in the movie, both Rubin and Kyle are disqualified, leaving just Josh and E.L. to make deposits.

Answer: Manilow

Yes, Barry shares his surname with the stage name of the American singer born Barry Alan Pincus, who has enjoyed success with hits such as "Could It Be Magic", "Mandy", and "Copacabana (At the Copa)". Barry's grandparents are delightful hosts, although, like their grandson, definitely have Manilow family quirks!

Answer: "You're a wrestler?"

The student replies "You bet Mary, wanna go?". Josh takes up the challenge, but is soon regretting this decision as the student slams him through a table, before being dragged away and restrained by E.L. and Rubin whilst Josh slides over the counter and retrieves the package containing the video tape he has sent Tiffany.

Answer: Let off the fire extinguisher he has been holding for the past few minutes

Kyle letting off the fire extinguisher causes momentary bedlam, and allows Josh and Tiffany (who arrived amidst all the kerfuffle) to escape to Tiffany's room, with Josh still holding the package containing the Beth video tape!

Whilst Tiffany and Josh are chatting in Tiffany's room, the phone rings. Tiffany answers it and says that it's for Josh - it's Beth! Whilst Josh is on the phone, Tiffany spots the package addressed to her and opens it. Seeing it's a video tape from Josh, she pops it into her video machine and starts to play it. We hear Beth's voice saying "What do you look for in a girl", and see Josh lying on the bed providing the answers we saw him give earlier in the movie. Tiffany momentarily looks away to ask Josh "Is this for me?" to which Josh starts to panic and run towards the video player to turn it off.

But just as we see Beth's figure move into shot (and before Tiffany has turned back round to the screen), the video fuzzes out, and starts showing a video of Barry's face.

It seems that Barry had inadvertently taped over most of the original video, saving Josh from having to provide Tiffany an explanation to his misdeed!

Answer: Ancient Philosophy

On hearing Josh's dejection, Rubin declares "I can teach you Ancient Philosophy in 46 hours", saying that "the key is just finding a way to relate to the material". Identifying that Josh likes pro wrestling, Rubin begins his tutoring by saying that "Socrates - he was like the Vince McMahon of philosophy. He started it all".

Barry tells us that:

Josh and Beth are still together ... and that they are still making their home movies!

E.L. got pretty serious with some girl he met, whom he believes was pre-med.

Kyle and his father reconciled their differences, and that Kyle brought his new girlfriend (Rhonda) home to meet his parents.

However we don't hear anything about Rubin being romantically involved with anyone.
