However, he's a very contradictory character in that, after saying something like that, he wears a helmet with "Born Killer" written on it but he also wears a 'peace sign' medallion. Once in Vietnam, Joker is assigned as a reporter with "Stars and Stripes" and is teamed up with a photographer. Stationed at Da Nang, they become involved in the big Tet offensive which almost overran South Vietnam.
