This is a great story of a 40 something man getting fired from his job, the unemployment office gets him a new one. To teach the 'Impossibles' of the army to think on their feet, along the way they, the 'Impossibles', form an unbreakable friendship.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" came out in 1992 and starred Kristy Swanson and Donald Sutherland.
This movie lead Joss Whedon to create the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and it's spinoff series "Angel".

This is a great movie, my favourite quote from the movie is "The horse is too small, the jockey too big, the trainer too old, and I'm too dumb to know the difference."

"The Insider" came out in 1999 and starred Russell Crowe and Al Pacino.
Based on a true story about a CBS "60 Minutes"-episode in 1994 on malpractices in the tobacco industry, that was not aired because CBS parent company Westinghouse objected. Pacino plays the "60 Minutes" producer.

"Forever Young" came out in 1992 and starred Mel Gibson, Jamie Lee Curtis and Elijah Wood.
A 1939 test pilot asks his best friend to use him as a guinea pig for a cryogenics experiment. Daniel McCormick wants to be frozen for a year so that he doesn't have to watch his love lying in a coma. The next thing Daniel knows is that he's been awoken in 1992. This is a good show.

"McLintock!" came out in 1963 and starred John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. It is a comedy and western.
You will like the movie even if you don't like westerns because you will laugh at the good clean humour.

"Finding Nemo" came out in 2003 and features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, William Dafoe, and Brad Garrett.
This is a great movie. It is one of the best new animated movies to come out in a long time.
My favourite quote is "you were like, whoa. and then I was like, whoa... and then you were like whoooooaa." This was said by a totally, groovy turtle. To understand it you need to see the movie.

There are a couple references to "Monsters, Inc." in "Finding Nemo". During the credits, Mike Wazowski (from "Monsters, Inc." (2001)) can be seen doing a little deep-sea diving. Boo's fish mobile from "Monsters, Inc." (2001) is hanging in the dentist's office.

"The Wizard of Oz" came out in 1939 and starred Judy Garland and Frank Morgan. It was the first film to be filmed in colour. It is a classic film that everyone knows and loves.
Frank Morgan has five roles: Professor Marvel, the gatekeeper of the Emerald City, the cab driver (of the horse of a different color), the Wizard's guard, and the Wizard. It is also possible that he was made up for the projected image of the Wizard.

The horses in Emerald City palace were colored with Jell-O crystals. The relevant scenes had to be shot quickly, before the horses started to lick it off.

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" came out in 2002. The movie was written by and starred Nia Vardalos. This is a good movie, about a Greek girl falling for a non-Greek boy and her family's struggle to accept him.

"A League of Their Own" came out in 1992. It starred Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell to name a few.
This is a great movie about sibling rivilry. For everyone who has older sibling they understand why Kit is the way she is.

"Saving Private Ryan" came out in 1998. It starred Tom Hanks, Edward Burns, Matt Damon, and Vin Diesel. This is a good WW2 film, the opening scene is worth it.

Upham is chastised for saluting Miller (Tom Hanks) because it will make Miller a target for snipers. In "Forrest Gump" (1994), Forrest (Tom Hanks) is chastised for doing the same thing to Lieutenant Dan.

"A Man Apart" came out in 2003, it starred Vin Diesel and Ken Davitian. This is a good film, but any film that Vin Diesel is in is.
