A psychic named Mary Woodhouse and an investigating reporter named Peter Bell work together to try to close the portal to Hell before All Saints Day. If they don't succeed in doing this, the evil dead spirits will take over the world.

This is all due to Father William Thomas hanging himself in a cemetery, which opened the gates of Hell and released zombies that have massive strength and can teleport. Directed by Lucio Fulci, it goes by other film titles as well, including 'The Gates of Hell'.
