Martin Balsam played private investigator Milton Arbogast in the 1960 movie "Psycho", starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John McIntire, John Gavin and Simon Oakland; directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

"Psycho" is a 1960 psychological horror movie based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. It is a story about a man (Anthony Perkins) who runs a motel and keeps the dead body of his mother in his house which overlooks the motel. He murders a motel guest (Janet Leigh) who is on the run after stealing money from the company that she works for, he then kills a private investigator who inquires after her.
2. John The Baptist in "King of Kings" (1961)

Answer: Robert Ryan

Robert Ryan played John The Baptist in the 1961 movie "King of Kings" starring Jeffrey Hunter, Siobhan McKenna, Ron Randell, Hurd Hatfield and Royal Dano; directed by Nicholas Ray.

"King of Kings" is a biblical epic about the life of Jesus Christ (Jeffrey Hunter). Panned by the critics, it still made a profit on its $6,000,000 budget. It was one of the first religious movies to show the face of Jesus. The problem was that Jeffrey Hunter was very good looking and looked younger than his 33 years, the same age as Jesus when he died. The movie gained the sobriquet "I Was a Teenage Jesus".
