Answer: Romeo + Juliet

"Romeo + Juliet" (1996) stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in a modern version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy. In this version, the action is set in Verona Beach in modern-day America, but Shakespeare's original lines are used for dialog. There are some differences in plot and character naming, but the main plot follows that of the play. Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love, but they come from two feuding families. They marry in secret, but Juliet's betrothal to Paris causes them to take drastic action to be together. Juliet fakes her death, but Romeo does not receive word that she isn't really dead. Juliet wakes up just in time to see Romeo drink poison and he dies in her arms. She then uses his gun to take her own life.

"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" is a comedy that follows news anchor Ron Burgundy, played by Will Ferrell. When Veronica fills in for him and gets better ratings, she is promoted to co-anchor which upsets Ron. Tensions between Ron and Veronica lead Veronica to get revenge on Ron by writing inappropriate lines on his teleprompter, and Ron is fired. Afterward, Ron's friends are not supposed to speak to him unless they want to be fired, but Brian Fontana is the first one of Ron's friends to break this rule. Ron and Veronica eventually make up and the end of the movie shows them working together for the World News Center.

"I Love You, Man" (2008) features Paul Rudd as a real estate agent in LA named Peter Klaven. He doesn't have any close male friends. He overhears his fiancée's friends commenting on his lack of male friends, so he feels the need to find one. Peter is awkward in his attempts to find male friends, but he manages to meet a friend at the open house event for the Lou Ferrigno property he is trying to sell. His relationship with his new friend Sydney, played by Jason Segel, causes problems with his relationship with his fiancé Zooey. This leads to him breaking off the friendship, but Zooey calls Sydney to invite him to the wedding when she sees how sad Peter is.

After he tries to drive the truck off the tow truck, he and Wheeler are arrested and sentenced to community service. The movie then follows their progress with their "little" brothers and the comedic events that ensue. When Wheeler leaves his little brother unsupervised at a party, the two men are kicked out of the program, which causes them to fight and split up.

Answer: Knocked Up

The main story-line in the 2007 "Knocked Up" comedy centres around Katherine Heigl's accidental pregnancy following a one night stand with a bit of a no hoper played by Seth Rogen. Katherine and Seth's characters are Allison and Ben respectively. Running alongside this story line, however, is Paul Rudd in the role of Pete, who is married to Allison's sister, Debbie (played by Leslie Mann). Pete is having problems dealing with the controlling nature of his wife and uses various excuses to get out of the family home and away from her. When Allison finds this out, it leads to Pete and Debbie separating. In the meantime, Allison and Ben, whose relationship got off to a wobbly start, also break up. The two men take a trip to Las Vegas to lick their wounds, but after an experience with peculiar mushrooms there, decide to man up and make their respective relationships work. The subsequent birth of the baby is an hilarious occasion, at the conclusion of which, we see both couples happily reunited.

Along the way, they pick up a pregnant woman named Peaches (Megan Ferguson), whose car broke down, and a girl named Dot (Selena Gomez), who is around Trevor's age. Dot claims to be headed to Denver to restart her life after the death of her mother. Trevor has a crush on Dot and asks her on a date, which the two enjoy at a diner across the street from Ben and Peaches. During the drive, Ben notices a car following them. Once they reach their destination, Ben approaches the car and finds that it is Dot's father who has been following them to make sure that she is okay. Evangeline Lilly plays the part of Hope van Dyne, the daughter of Hank Pym, who created the Ant-Man and Wasp outfits. She was presented with the prototype for a new Wasp suit at the end of the first movie. Hank was the original "Ant-Man" and Hope's mother, Janet, was the original Wasp. In this movie, Scott Lang is on house arrest when he is kidnapped by Hank and Hope. They have potentially found a way to find Janet, who was lost in a quantum realm after going sub-atomic as the Wasp. Janet sends a message to Scott since they are now somehow linked after he himself went to sub-atomic levels in the first movie. Hope, Scott, and Hank find a way to reach and rescue Janet and bring her back.

Evangeline's character, Hope, has a somewhat serious and stern personality. She is intelligent like her parents and she upholds a strong sense of moral values. In the first movie, her relationship with her father was very cold, but began to warm up. The two of them grow even closer during the events in "Ant-Man and the Wasp". Some of Evangeline's other work includes roles in "The Hurt Locker", "The Hobbit", and "Real Steel".

Derek Dietl is a weatherman who will do anything to further his career. He puts his career before his relationship with Susan (voiced by Reese Witherspoon), and he breaks things off with her because he doesn't want a wife who will overshadow him.

Susan is a normal woman until she is hit by a meteorite which gives her the power to grow and she glows green. She is transported to a secret military facility where she befriends other monsters and is renamed Ginormica. She and the monsters defeat a probe sent by Gallaxhar, but Gallaxhar shows up and takes Susan in order to extract the quantonium from her body. Susan is able to regain her quantonium and abilities, helping the monsters stop the alien invasion.

Answer: Overnight Delivery

The 1998 romantic comedy "Overnight Delivery" sees Paul Rudd in the role of Wyatt Trips, a student at a college in Minnesota. Wyatt is in a long distance relationship with his high school sweetheart, Kimberly (Christine Taylor) who is at a university at Memphis. One day, following a phone call to speak to Kimberly, but which is answered by her room mate, Wyatt believes Kimberly is cheating on him with a man called The Ricker. He goes to a strip club to drown his sorrows, and meets Ivy (Reese Witherspoon), one of the dancers there. She suggests Wyatt send a photo of her standing romantically, but toplessly, beside him, in order to make Kimberly jealous. This is carried out and sent by overnight delivery.

However, before the package has time to get to Kimberly, she phones Wyatt and tells him that The Ricker is her dog. In a series of amusing events, Wyatt desperately tries to get to Kimberly before she receives her mail. This includes a serial killer who kidnaps him. After escaping, Wyatt runs into Ivy and the two set off once again to try to beat the mail, with more highly improbable but very amusing incidents taking place along the way. Of course, they fall in love along the way.
