Dick Dale and his Deltones recorded "Miserlou" in 1962. It is not certain, but many people believe the song had lyrics that were never recorded in. A group called Admiral Twin recorded a song called "Miserlou" that had Greek lyrics. The Miserlou is a Greek dance.

Although we never find out what is in the case, there are a few reasonable theories. One is that Marcellus's soul was in it.
EVIDENCE:
-The briefcase's combination is "666," implying that maybe the devil had hold of the case now, and the Marcellus sold his soul to the devil.
-Marcellus is shown with a bandage over his neck in the same place the soul was removed in ceremonies.
-Marcellus had the briefcase robbed from him.

Tarantino denied this and said the Ving Rhames (Marcellus Wallace) had a scar he wanted covered. It was just a fill-in-the-blank for the viewers.
