Right after Darth Vader sliced Luke's hand off, Luke crawled away from him and Darth Vader started to talk to Luke about his father. Luke mentioned to Darth Vader that Obi-Wan Kenobi told him that Darth Vader had killed his father. That was when Darth Vader broke the news to Luke that he was his father and Luke was in denial about this when he heard it.

Luke was told to head to the Dagobah system to look for someone named Yoda, since he would be trained by him to become a Jedi. When he first got to Dagobah, he noticed a creature watching him so he pointed a weapon at the creature. This was when Yoda told him to put away his weapon since he did not mean to hurt him. Yoda then asked Luke why he was there, so he said he was there to locate Yoda. Shortly after this, Yoda introduced himself to Luke.

All three of them got into the bay where the ship was and Chewie yelled at them to hurry. Han turned back around and told C-3PO to hurry up and he referred to him as "goldenrod".

When he removed the cuffs from Chewbacca's hand, Chewbacca attacked Lando but Leia convinced him to put him down. C-3PO apologized to Lando over what Chewie did to him but reminded him that he was a wookie/wookiee.

Lando then hugged Han to show he was only kidding. Lando asked Han what he had done with his ship, as in the Millennium Falcon, but Han reminded him he lost the ship to him fair and square.
