Based on a book written by Nicholas Pileggi (who also co-wrote the screenplay), "Casino" focuses on gambling, mobsters, greed, deception, friendship, brutality and power. The movie also earned 1995's Guinness record for most swear words in a film. Dick Smothers, Don Rickles, and Alan King - all three of whom were regular Las Vegas performers - appeared in the movie.
