The sisters came to get Deloris to take her back with them because Reverend Mother asked them to. We find out that she wants Deloris to help them by being a teacher.

The name of the high school is St. Francis. The name of the convent in the first movie was St. Katherine's.
Notice how they are all named after Saints?

The kids were watching another school perform their song and they did a really good job as well as looking better and the kids thought that they weren't good enough. Their robes weren't as nice and they didn't think they could sing as well.
They were wrong, because Deloris changed their minds and they ended up performing.

14. How do the Fathers keep Mr. Crisp from telling the truth about Deloris and allowing the kids to sing in the competition?

Answer: They lock him in the closet.

As soon as the Fathers got there and saw how great the kids looked in their robes and how happy they were they decided to hold off on telling the truth about Deloris and the kids got to stay and perform.
This scene was so funny. The Fathers pushed Mr. Crisp in the closet and then locked it with a sausage.

In the end after the kids have won, they overhear Mary Patrick, Mary Robert and Mary Lazaurus talking about Deloris and Vegas and they put it together and confront her about it. She tells everyone that she is a headliner not a Las Vegas showgirl.

Answer: Joyful, Joyful

The school before them sings the same song and they do a good job at it and the kids don't think they have a shot. But, when the kids get out there they give it their own flavor and it totally rocks. They end up winning.

The kids are from San Francisco and the competition is in Hollywood. Two of the other groups are from San Diego and San Bernandino.

After the competition was over and the kids won, Mr. Crisp got out of the closet and got ready to confess about Deloris but Reverend Mother stopped him. He found out that St. Francis won and that it isn't closing after all. I am so glad she told him off. He was such a jerk.

He ended up eating his words in the end when Reverend Mother told him off and told him to, "go with God." I couldn't have said it better myself.

The kids give an outstanding performance and give it their own flavor, which makes it totally breathtaking and they end up winning.
