Answer: Christophsis

Although Christophsis is in the Outer Rim, the Confederacy overruns the planet. The Republic is forced to commit forces to liberate the planet. Those forces are at risk of being cut off. The Hutts control much of the Outer Rim and have threatened to restrict travel through their space lanes.

Anakin and Obi-Wan are the Jedi in charge of the liberation and the they think they have control of this world, but the droid retreat is a ruse. General Whorm Loathsom leads a fresh attack that is protected by a force field, effectively eliminating the firepower of the Republic army's artillery guns.

The battle is won when Obi-Wan delays Loathsom's final attack, giving Anakin and Ahsoka Tano enough time to destroy the shield generator. This allows the fleet to land gunships carrying Master Yoda and reinforcements.

Answer: Anakin Skywalker

Obi-Wan says he had put in a request for a new Padawan learner and assumed that Ahsoka would be assigned to him when she arrived on Christophsis, but we soon learn that Yoda gave her instructions to report to Anakin.

Yoda believes that training a Padawan is the next test in Anakin's development as a Jedi. Anakin believes that a Padawan will just slow him down, but Ahsoka's style is a good fit with Anakin's and he quickly takes a liking to her. Yoda is not concerned about them getting along, but is concerned with Anakin's ability to "let her go". It is not evident what he means by this. Perhaps we'll find out in a sequel?

Answer: Snips

Ahsoka starts the name-calling by referring to Anakin as "Sky Guy", getting a chuckle from the clone troopers in earshot. Anakin returns the favor by referring to her as "Snips". This is apparently because she gets snippy with her new master.

Answer: Jabba the Hutt

This is none other than Jabba the Hutt from the original trilogy. Jabba is an up-and-comer in a world of crime lords. Having set himself up on Tatooine earlier on, he hedged his bets and played both sides of the war between the Separatists and the Republic, making some nice profits.
Both sides attempt to gain his favor when his son, Rotta, is kidnapped.

Ziro the Hutt is Jabba's uncle, so Rotta is Ziro's grandnephew. Working with Count Dooku, Ziro arranges to kidnap Rotta. Dooku will attempt to frame the Jedi for the act.

The benefit to Dooku...believing the Jedi killed a young Hutt, the Hutts will continue to refuse passage of Republic shipping through their airspace. Or, if Dooku rescues the young Hutt before the Jedi kill him, the Hutts will be grateful to the Confederacy. Either way, Dooku wins.

The benefit to Ziro...this will force a showdown between Jabba and the Jedi. The Jedi will be forced to destroy or arrest Jabba, allowing Zito to take over Jabba's interests. Zito would become the most powerful of all the Hutts.

Jabba's term of endearment for his son is Punky Muffin. Ahsoka refers to him more descriptively as Stinky.

Answer: Rex (CC-7567)

Rex is an aggressive and independent captain. This individuality is evident in the fact that he dyes his buzz-cut hair blonde, to stand out from the rest of the clones. He leads the 501st Legion of Torrent Company in both the Battle of Christophsis and the Battle of Teth. Many of this legion can be seen with distinctive hair coloring as well.

Clone Marshall Commander Cody has been the best known clone commander. In the Clone Wars, he serves in the 212th Attack Battalion during the Battle of Teth. The 212th, along with Obi-Wan, comes to Anakin's aid on Teth as the rescue attempt of Jabba's son turns out to be a trap.

Answer: Asajj Ventress

Asajj Ventriss is first seen in "Star Wars" films in the "Clone Wars" series, seen on Cartoon Network. She is Count Dooku's most trusted assassin. She had been trained as a Jedi, but turned to the dark side when her master was killed. She is a Dark Jedi with aspirations to becoming a Sith.

The usually efficient assassin fails. Anakin escapes, with Rotta, using a spice freighter called the Twilight that the protocol droid TC-70 has set aside as an escape vehicle.

On top of that, Asajj is defeated by Obi-Wan in combat and has to escape on a vulture droid.

Thinking quickly, Dooku and Ventriss devise a lie to tell Jabba. He is led to believe that Rotta has been killed by the Jedi and that Anakin is coming to Tatooine to kill him. This time Dooku will leave nothing to chance and decides to deal with the matter himself, but is in turn duped by Anakin.

Answer: Senator Padme Amidala

The former Queen of Naboo now represents her home world as a senator. What many do not know is that she is secretly married to Anakin Skywalker. Her love for him is what prompts her to seek an audience with Ziro and help in any way she can.

Padme goes to see Ziro the Hutt and learns that he has been in on the plot all along. She is captured by Ziro's assassin droids and he plans to sell her to interested parties in the Trade Federation.

Interesting production note from Wookiepedia: Hutt's are hemaphroditic and George Lucas asked for Ziro's voice to sound like Truman Capote's.

Answer: C-3PO

We get very far in the movie before we first see C-3PO. Artoo gets a lot of screen time and it becomes likely that his protocol droid counterpart will sit this one out. But C-3PO finally does get into the movie.

He is assigned to Senator Padme Amidala to help her with her diplomatic duties. I'm sure all six million of the forms of communication he knows come in handy in this role.

C-3PO tries to reach Padme on her communicator and she tricks the battle droid guarding her to activate it and tip off C-3PO. C-3PO "leads" a force of clone troopers who storm into Ziro's stronghold and arrest him.

As usual, the battle droids' stupidity acts as comic relief in this movie.

Answer: Rotta

"He's turning every shade of green except the one he's supposed to be!" - Ahsoka Tano about Rotta

Rotta should have been safely ensconced in his father's brood pouch, but Jabba wanted him to experience more of the galaxy than other Huttlets his age. This makes him an easy target for Count Dooku, who has Rotta's sail barge seized by an octopus ship.

After the rescue, Ahsoka does not think that Rotta will survive the trip through hyperspace to Tatooine and seeks help in the rear compartment of the freighter. She finds the medical hologram which instructs her to give the little slug a pill. This makes him feel better and his fever breaks.

Star Trek fans can't help but think of this as a tribute to "Star Trek Voyager". The doctor on the show, called The Doctor and played by Robert Picardo, is a very resourceful holographic, medical program.

Answer: Saesee Tiin

Adi Gallia is seen with Mace Windu and Yoda at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, as they discuss what to do about Jabba the Hutt's request for help in recovering his kidnapped son.

Kit Fisto is seen with Plo Koon during a space battle elsewhere in the galaxy. Thank you laalaaduck for the update!

Saesee Tiin, the formidable Iktochian Jedi Master, is unfortunately not seen in the movie.
