The characters Seth and Evan have been best friends since they were eight-years-old. Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg wrote "Superbad". They also teamed up to write "Pineapple Express", a sneak preview of which is included on the "Superbad" DVD in the special features.

"Clark County" can be seen several places throughout the movie. It is visible on Seth's license plate, the high school's sign, and on a patch on Officer Michael's and Officer Slater's uniforms. Seth's beloved older model red Geo is towed after he parks in the staff parking lot. The legendary Geo Metro made its debut in 1989. It boasted up to 58 miles per gallon and was surprisingly successful until it was retired by Chevrolet in 2001.

Jesse spits on Seth's Richard Pryor t-shirt and says Seth and Evan aren't invited to his grad party. Richard Pryor died in 2005 at age 65 leaving behind a legend as being one of the greatest comedic minds in entertainment history. Pryor starred in such comedy classics as "Blazing Saddles" and "Harlem Nights".

Answer: Tiramisu

Seth tells Jules he thinks they will get an A for the Tiramisu they prepared although it looks like a mess compared to Evan's. Tiramisu is an Italian dessert. Common ingredients for most recipes include brandy, mascarpone cheese, and ladyfinger cookies dipped in strong-brewed coffee cooled to room temperature.

Answer: Mrs. Hayworth

After a hilarious comedic exchange, Mrs. Hayworth relents and tells Seth to pair up with Jules at station four. This scene is Mrs. Hayworth's only appearance in the movie. An alternate (and slightly more explicit) version of this scene can be found in the Gag Reel of the special features section. Mrs. Hayworth is played by Brooke Dillman who, to her credit, also has appeared in several episodes of "Blue Collar TV".

Answer: Tells her the time

Fogle, who later becomes "McLovin", tells Nicola, "It's 10:33." Fogle describes his new treasured memory as "so sweet". Seth counters Fogle's adventurous tale with a quip of sarcasm saying, "That's the most amazing story I've ever heard. Can you tell it again? Do you have time?"

Answer: "Ghostbusters"

During lunch, Seth explains to Evan how Becca got him in trouble at school over his lunch box full of drawings. The movie takes a quick step back in time to grade school and shows Seth in class filling his "Ghostbusters" lunch box with drawings. "Ghostbusters" opened in 1984 followed by "Ghostbusters 2" in 1989.

Answer: Goldslick Vodka

Most vodka has an alcohol content of 35%-50% (70-100 proof). The bottle of Goldslick is broken in the scuffle between Evan, Seth and the bum on the bus.

Seth plans to steal the liquor from the Good Shopper store, but he changes his mind after he daydreams that the security guard cuts his throat with a broken bottle. The average American spends $280 per week at the grocery store.
