Answer: Cliff Beasts

The actors and actresses are gathered together to film part six of the "Cliff Beasts" franchise. The full name of this particular installment is "Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requiem". "Cliff Beasts" is one of the first major movies to be filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic and the crew and actors quarantine together and shoot the movie at an English hotel.

Answer: Carol

Carol Cobb (played by Karen Gillan) tries her hand at "serious" acting and decides not to be a part of "Cliff Beasts 5". After a couple of bad movies, she decides to join the cast again. Lauren Van Chance (played by Lesley Mann) is not happy and Carol and Lauren have an awkward reunion at a welcome back party before filming commences. Poor Carol has a tough time on the shoot.

When she first arrives and has to isolate for two weeks, she goes quite stir crazy. While filming, her boyfriend breaks up with her over the phone and many of her lines are taken away from her (which she suspects is because of her temporary departure from the franchise.)

Answer: Tik Tok

Krystal Kris (played by Iris Apatow) is a young Tik Tok superstar. She is not an actress but brought to the franchise to try to appeal to a young audience. A Tik Tok style dance is written into the "Cliff Beasts" movie script (which is pretty ridiculous considering it's an action movie with dinosaurs).

At one point she escapes the hotel for a night out in London but footage is leaked to her followers and she gets cancelled for her selfish behaviour.

Answer: Home Depot

Director Darren Eigan (played by Fred Armisen) is a former "Indie" director with not a whole lot of experience. At a dinner to welcome the cast to the film shoot, he is introduced as the director of the movie "Tiles of Love" which he made while working at Home Depot.

At the dinner, he gives an awkward speech comparing the film shoot to a road trip where there will be bumps, accidents and loss. He is hired to direct this installment of "Cliff Beasts" and though he's enthusiastic, his inexperience is evident (particularly with a cast of acting divas.) He is continuously bothered by one of the actors who wants to rewrite the script. Eventually he loses complete control of the cast.

Answer: Harmony Ignite

Sean Knox (played by Keegan-Michael Key) is constantly talking about his wellness program "Harmony Ignite". He uses all the appropriate buzzwords associated with self-development programs, telling whoever will listen that it's about "fulfilling your dreams". Hilariously, when Carol desperately needs help and turns to Knox for his expertise, he has nothing substantial to share with her.

Paula (played by Kate McKinnon) is in several video calls with the executive producer of the movie, encouraging and harassing him to make sure the shoot gets completed. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, she is in different and exotic locations for every video call.

She disingenuously talks about how hard lockdown is while skiing because she got her vaccine ahead of everyone else (because she's rich.) She's also seen on safari amongst other places.

Answer: Fingers

A new and very hardcore security team is brought in to keep the cast and crew "safe". Headed by Mr. Best, the team use some pretty extreme measures to keep everyone on site, including injecting everyone with chips to track their whereabouts. Lauren dons a pair of rollerskates and takes off across the grounds and she is targeted by the new security team.

She is shot and ends up losing four fingers as a result. It turns out no-one really knows who has hired Mr. Best and team.

Answer: John Cena

This movie did not get very good reviews but I am probably one of the few people who thought it was humorous. In a very funny scene (maybe only if you've been on multiple Zoom calls that keep freezing and clocking), Steve the stunt coordinator appears over video to instruct the cast.

He consistently freezes, curses, gets frustrated and is cut off before the cast know what they're supposed to do. A crew member holds a tablet and acts out interpretive movements as Steve talks.

Answer: Dieter

Dieter (played by Pedro Pascal of Oberyn Martell in "Game of Thrones" fame) is a veteran actor with a drug problem. Some of the cast and crew join him for a bit of a party and end up talking about their troubles and issues. At one point, one of the faces of the cast turns into Benedict Cumberbatch (actually played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and at another point, the gang decide to make a Tik Tok video.

While making the video, Dieter collapses but is revived by one of the hotel staff.

Answer: Helicopter

The cast are finally able to escape the quarantine nightmare by helicopter. Actor Sean Knox learns how to go up and down in a helicopter for the movie and uses that skill to help with an escape. He needs to learn how to fly forward with the help of the young Tik Tok sensation and is able to fly away.

A film documentarian who was meant to film what it's like to make a movie during a pandemic captures this and many other moments throughout filming and ends up making a documentary called "Beasts of the Bubble" which gets far more positive press than the actual movie itself.
