The film was the only Sellers-Edwards collaboration apart from the "Pink Panther" series.
3. THPCRSSFL

"The Ipcress File" was released in 1963. Michael Caine plays the part of Agent Harry Palmer, a British counter-intelligence agent who must solve the mystery behind a sudden brain drain Britain is experiencing and that, unbeknownst to him, is coordianted by his superior, Major Dalby.
4. CNTDRCL

Answer: Count Dracula

The film "Count Dracula" was released in 1970. It was directed by Jesús Franco. Despite the fact that Sir Christopher Lee portrayed the title role, the film was produced by Harry Alan Towers and not by Hammer Film Productions, as opposed to the other "Dracula" films the actor starred in.

The film is thought to be the most faithful adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel. The plot revolves around the lawyer Jonathan Harker, who goes to Transylvania to secure property for Count Dracula, who, unbeknownst to Harker, is a vampire. Harker, in fact a prisoner of Dracula, manages to escape, but is followed by the vampire, who takes an interest to Harker's fiancee, Mina. Harker and Dr. Abraham Van Helsing ally to destroy Dracula.
5. DTHNTHNL

Answer: Death on the Nile

The film was released in 1978. It was directed by John Guillermin. Although it was a British film, it first premiered in New York, receiving mixed reviews and not impressing the American audience as much as "Murder on the Orient Express" had done four years earlier.

However, the film's popularity was increased at the end of the 20th and the start of the 21st century. In the film, the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is vacationing in Egypt. On the same ship travels the American heiress Linnet Doyle, nee Ridgeway, as well as Jacqueline de Bellefort, formerly a friend of Linnet's but now enemy, because Linnet married Mr. Doyle, who was previously engaged to Jacqueline.

When Linnet is murdered, Poirot must solve the crime.
6. THSTNG

Answer: The Sting

The film "The Sting" was released in 1973. It takes place in 1936, in Chicago, in the era of the Great Depression. It follows the efforts of two grifters, Henry Gondorff and Johnny Hooker (portrayed by Newman and Redford respectively) to trick a mob boss, Doyle Lonnegan (portrayed by Robert Shaw) into betting half a million dollars in a confidence game.

The film was nominated for ten Academy Awards and won seven.
7. HK

Answer: Hook

"Hook" was released in 1991. It was directed by Steven Spielberg and acts as a sequel to James Barrie's "Peter and Wendy". In the film, Peter Pan has grown up and is now a successful lawyer named Peter Banning, with a wife (granddaughter of Wendy from the original novel) and two children. While Peter has forgotten his childhood, the abduction of his children by his rival James Hook prompts him to return to Neverland and remember his childhood again.
The film did not enjoy many positive reviews. Even the director felt somewhat disappointed looking at it retrospectively.
8. RMLDC

Answer: Irma la Douce

"Irma la Douce" was released in 1963. The main protagonists are Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Lemmon plays the part of a French policeman, Nestor Patou, who is kicked out of the police force after accidentally being framed for robbery. Nestor meets a prostitute named Irma (MacLaine) and becomes her new pimp, but falls in love with her and plans to end her prostitution, under the false identity of the British Lord X.
9. THMGNFCNTSVN

Answer: The Magnificent Seven

"The Magnificent Seven" was released in 1960. The Japanese film on which it was based was Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai". In the American film, the plot revolves around seven gunmen who are commissioned by the residents of a Mexican village to protect it from a gang of bandits.

Although, at the time of its release, it was not critically acclaimed, it has grown in the esteem of both viewers and critics. In 2013, the film was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry of the United States.
10. NTHNMFTHFTHR

Answer: In the Name of the Father

The film "In the Name of the Father" was released in 1993. It was directed by Jim Sheridan. It is based on the real story of the Guildford Four, a group of young men who were falsely convicted for the IRA Guildford pub bombings, which occurred in 1974.

The men had been released from prison in 1989, four years before the film's premiere. Although the film generally received positive reviews, it contains historical inaccuracies and some parts of the story of the Guildford Four had been fictionalized.
