As the movie opens we find Harry hanging out in a rather forlorn looking playground. Dudley and his crew show up and Harry asks him if he beat up another ten year old. Dudley replies that this one had deserved it and Harry makes a comment about the five to one odds. Dudley then says this line and starts teasing Harry about things he has been saying in his sleep and asking him if Cedric was his boyfriend. Angry by the references to Cedric, Harry pulls his wand on Dudley, a move that only Dudley appreciates! Despite the radical changes in his appearance this time around, Dudley has been played by Harry Melling in all of the movies.

Answer: Arthur Weasley

Arthur escorts Harry to the Ministry for his hearing. Since Harry is under-aged, he's not allowed to apparate and Arthur takes him via subway, having a wonderful time as he does so, because he is fascinated by all things Muggle. When they reach the phone booth that serves as the Visitor's Entrance to the Ministry of Magic, he makes the above observation and adds a comment about getting out his Muggle money as he steps into the booth with Harry.

Answer: Mrs. Figg

During Harry's hearing, Fudge (the Minister of Magic) tries to discredit Harry's claim that there were Dementors, because Harry could produce no witnesses. Dumbledore speaks up and produces a witness, Mrs. Arabella Figg. She is asked to describe them, and begins to describe Harry and Dudley with the above comment. She is interrupted and asked to describe the Dementors instead.
Mrs. Figg is played by Kathryn Hunter.

Answer: Draco Malfoy

This remark is made as they are getting off the Hogwarts' Express and making their way to the carriages. Because the Ministry is refusing to believe that Voldemort has returned, it is launching a smear campaign against Harry to discredit his assertions that Voldemort has indeed returned. Malfoy's comment alludes to this effort to make Harry appear unstable and attention seeking.

Answer: Dolores Umbridge

At the feast Dumbledore introduces the two new professors to the students. He starts speaking about another subject when he hears Umbridge make her annoying little noise that sounds like the cross between a giggle and clearing her throat. She then rises to address the students, starting with this saccharine observation. The camera then pans to the students, none of whom are smiling.

Answer: Seamus Finnigan

Many of the students' parents do not want them returning to Hogwarts because they believe what The Daily Prophet is saying about Harry and Dumbledore being crazy. Seamus is one of these students and he angrily confronts Harry with the trouble he had talking his mother into letting him return. Ron intervenes and asks Seamus what his problem is and Seamus responds with this question. Ron replies that yes he does believe Harry, which effectively shuts Seamus up.
Seamus is played by Devon Murray.

Answer: Dolores Umbridge

Umbridge gives Harry's Defense Against the Dark Arts class this warning on their very first class. This warning is issued when she is talking about preparing them for their end of year O.W.L. exams. This is said just before the students find out that their class is going to be entirely theoretical, with no practical application at all.

Her thinly veiled warning speaks to her firm belief in punishment.

Answer: Dolores Umbridge

Harry is given a detention for standing up to Umbridge and insisting that Voldemort has indeed returned. Using Umbridge's special quill, he writes the line "I must not tell lies" on the parchment. It appears, painfully cut, on the back of his hand. Umbridge smiles down at him and essentially challenges him to complain, so he replies "Nothing." The above line is her cat-who-ate-the-cream response.

Answer: Luna Lovegood

Harry wanders down to Hagrid's cottage, to find it still empty. He notices a Thestral flying out and back into the Forbidden Forest, and decides to investigate. He finds Luna petting and feeding the Thestrals and asks her what they are. The above comment is her response to the question of why some people can't see them.
Luna is played to perfection by Evanna Lynch.

Answer: Sybil Trelawney

Appointed as High Inquisitor at Hogwarts, Umbridge takes it upon herself to weed out all the teachers who aren't performing up to her expectations. Finding Trelawney unable to perform on command, she fires her and arranges to have her thrown out of Hogwarts. After Trelawney makes the above plea for compassion, Unbridge replies that she can indeed have Trelawney thrown out. Dumbledore appears and allows her to stay, much to Umbridge's chagrin.
Trelawney is played by Emma Thompson.

Answer: Sirius Black

Sirius is talking to Harry, Ron and Hermione through the fire when he says this, in response to their complaint that Umbridge isn't letting them practice spells. Hermione then asks if he's afraid that they're going to start an army and Sirius replies that that is exactly what Fudge is afraid of. It is probably here that the seeds of Dumbledore's Army are first sown.

Answer: Luna Lovegood

Hermione has invited a few students to gather and discuss the possibility of having Harry teach them spells, since Umbridge is not allowing them to practise. The few students they are expecting turn out to be quite a few, but many are skeptical and others only want Harry to talk about how Cedric was killed, which he refuses to do. Things aren't going very well until Luna asks this question, which Hermione answers and then other students talk about what Harry has accomplished.

The students are impressed and Dumbledore's Army begins.

Answer: Ron Weasley

Hermione is talking about the need to find a practice room for Dumbledore's Army, and goes about describing what it needs. Someone asks what will happen if Umbridge finds out and Hermione says she doesn't care. She further adds that "It's kind of exciting breaking a few rules." This provokes the above incredulous comment from Ron.
Ron Weasley is played by Rupert Grint.

After Neville finds the Room of Requirement he shows it to Harry and some of the other members of the group. Hermione explains what the Room of Requirement is and Harry makes the above observation, announcing it to be the perfect practice room for Dumbledore's Army.

On the momentous event of the first official meeting of Dumbledore's Army, Harry offers these words of inspiration to the students gathered together to learn how to fight back against evil. After he says it, the training of Dumbledore's Army begins in earnest.
