1. I was overprotective towards my daughter. Who voiced me?

Answer: Kenneth Mars

Mars, born on April 14th, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois voiced Triton. Triton ruled the sea and had a daughter named Ariel who was a teenager and therefore he was afraid she would get into trouble. Triton realized that Ariel wanted to learn more about humans but Triton did not trust humans so he tried everything he could to prevent Ariel from meeting one human in particular, Eric. Ariel made a trip to the surface to see if she could encounter a human and this upset Triton that he asked a friend named Sebastian, who was a crab, to watch out for Ariel.

At the end of the movie, Triton started to trust humans more to the extent that he turned Ariel into one so she could marry Eric. In the film's final scene, Ariel hugged Triton and told him she loved him. Mars starred in the films, "The Producers", "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "Young Frankenstein".
2. Ursula transformed me into a human to see if I could win Eric's love. Sadly, I lost my voice in the process. Who voiced me?

Benson, a native of Rockford, Illinois lent her voice to Ariel. Ariel was a mermaid and longed for adventure but her father, Triton, kept a close eye on her. In one scene, Ariel went to the water's surface and noticed that Eric needed help so she rescued him and then ran off. Ariel went to talk to the sea witch, Ursula, one day and they came to a deal. Ursula told Ariel that she would transform her into a human for three days to give her that much time to win Eric's love by virtue of them sharing a passionate kiss.

In the process, Ariel would lose her voice. Ariel also agreed that, if she failed to win Erica's love, she would be Ursula's captive forever. Ariel failed and therefore was bound by Ursula's orders until Triton stepped in and offered to take Ariel's place, which Ursula accepted. Benson also voiced characters in the films, "Toy Story 2", "Toy Story 3" and "Thumbelina".

In one scene, Ariel and Eric ate lunch and Eric was surprised when he saw Ariel combing her hair with the fork. Ariel and Eric later shared a boat ride and nearly shared a kiss. Shortly afterwards, Ariel was stunned to hear that Eric planned to marry someone else, but Eric ended up not marrying her, after some of Ariel's friends disrupted their wedding. Eric fought with Ursula in the film's final battle and he managed to kill her.
