However, Jim's son, Johnny (Jeffrey Hunter) helped his father by robbing the train first, and then he joined the posse to find the robber.
3. In which Western was a dance hall girl played by a man?

Answer: Lust in the Dust

Divine (Harris Glenn Milstead, Oct 19, 1945 - Mar 7, 1988) played a dance hall girl, Rosie Velez, in "Lust in the Dust" (1985). People looking for gold ended up in a saloon at Chili Verde. There were a few songs, and one man died from lovemaking.
4. What Western had an all-dwarf cast?

Bat Haines (Billy Rhodes) was the one stealing cattle and causing trouble, but he convinced the sheriff that Buck Lawson (Billy Curtis) was the one doing it. An angry mob tried to grab Buck. Meanwhile, Bat's angry girlfriend planted dynamite in Bat's cabin. "The Terror of Tiny Town" (1938) was criticized for using a regular Western set with an all-dwarf cast, and only occasionally providing extra steps for the short people to use.
5. Why were three American Indians killed in "The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold" (1958)?

Answer: They wore silver medallions.

Three Native American Indians had been killed because they wore silver medallions which were parts of a silver plaque which made a map showing how to get to a cave with walls made of gold. At this point the Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore) and Tonto (Jay Silverheels) investigated the murders.
6. Which of these movies is a John Wayne Western?

Answer: Three Godfathers

Three criminals robbed a bank and escaped in the desert. They found a pregnant woman. They helped deliver her baby. She made them promise to take the boy to the nearest town. Then she died. Hightower (John Wayne) and his friends traveled across the hot desert with the baby, running out of water along the way. This was one of the few times John Wayne played an outlaw.
7. In which 1966 Western did an outlaw meet a vampire played by John Carradine?

Answer: Billy the Kid Versus Dracula

In the old West, Dracula (John Carradine) tried to turn Betty Bentley into his vampire bride to get control of her land. Her fiance, Billy the Kid, didn't like it, and tried to put a stop to it. The Count kidnapped Betty Bentley after claiming to be her uncle. Billy the Kid tried shooting Dracula, but found out that didn't do any good.

A doctor told Billy to drive a scalpel through Dracula's heart to kill Dracula.
8. Who played the deputy in "High Noon" (1952)?

Answer: Lloyd Bridges

For all the talk about "High Noon", starring Gary Cooper as Will Kane, who tried to get help to fight a gang of criminals on the way to town, does anyone ever mention Lloyd Bridges, who played the deputy which Will dumped water on? Beau Bridges, son of Lloyd, said in an interview that he was on the set and laughed when Cooper poured the water on Lloyd, ruining one of the takes of the scene. Cooper thought it was funny and had a friendly talk with little Beau. Lloyd Bridges played parts over the years in television ("Sea Hunt") and movies ("Airplane").
9. In this quote from "Little Big Man" what is the missing word: "Today is a _____ day to die."?

Answer: good

The Klingon has said this line several times in "Star Trek: The Next Generation", but it originated in "Little Big Man", starring Dustin Hoffman, when the old Native American Cheyenne decided he had lived long enough and went out in the cold overnight to die.

In the movie he was still alive the next morning and said that sometimes the magic didn't work, and he would have to go on living.
10. In this quote from "Unforgiven" what is the missing word: "I've ___________ everything that walks or crawls at one time or another..."?

Answer: killed

Bill Munny (Clint Eastwood) was hired to kill the cowboy who cut the prostitute, and he attacked the sheriff (Gene Hackman) for the way he handled the violence against the prostitute. He pretty much summed it up when he said, "I've killed everything that walks or crawls at one time or another, and I'm here to kill you, Little Bill, for what you done to Ned."
