In the old West, Dracula (John Carradine) tried to turn Betty Bentley into his vampire bride to get control of her land. Her fiance, Billy the Kid, didn't like it, and tried to put a stop to it. The Count kidnapped Betty Bentley after claiming to be her uncle. Billy the Kid tried shooting Dracula, but found out that didn't do any good.

A doctor told Billy to drive a scalpel through Dracula's heart to kill Dracula.

For all the talk about "High Noon", starring Gary Cooper as Will Kane, who tried to get help to fight a gang of criminals on the way to town, does anyone ever mention Lloyd Bridges, who played the deputy which Will dumped water on? Beau Bridges, son of Lloyd, said in an interview that he was on the set and laughed when Cooper poured the water on Lloyd, ruining one of the takes of the scene. Cooper thought it was funny and had a friendly talk with little Beau. Lloyd Bridges played parts over the years in television ("Sea Hunt") and movies ("Airplane").
