"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was the fourth film in the "Harry Potter" franchise and came to the big screen in 2005. In the film, we saw young Harry enter the Triwizard Tournament which involved three separate challenges. Keira Knightley married her beau in the film, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, while Hugh Grant played the British Prime Minister who fell in love with a member of his staff.

"Children of Men" was a 1992 novel written by P. D. James that was made into a film released in 2006. Clive Owen played an activist who was recruited to escort a young refugee, believed to be the only pregnant female living on the planet. Chiwetel Ejiofor was a member of the Fishes, an immigrants' rights group who wanted to use the pregnant female for their own political gain.

The 2004 film "Closer" involved four leading characters played by Clive Owen, Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Julia Roberts. The film opened with two couples, Owen and Roberts, and Law and Portman, who went for partner swapping as the film progressed. From being four good friends, their relationships turned to jealousy, obsession and accusations.

The 2012 remake of "Anna Karenina" starred Jude Law as Count Alexei Karenin, a Russian statesman married to Anna Karenina, played by Keira Knightley. Matthew Macfadyen was Anna's brother, Prince Stepan "Stiva" Oblonsky. Their tangled lives got worse when Anna started an affair with a cavalry officer called Vronsky.

The 2013 film "The Three Musketeers" was based on the classic book written by Alexandre Dumas. The three musketeers, Athos (Matthew Macfadyen), Porthos, and Aramis were assisted by D'Artagnan in thwarting a plot to falsely accuse Queen Anne, and averting a war between France and England. Orlando Bloom played the Duke of Buckingham who was also embroiled in the plot masterminded by the dastardly Cardinal Richelieu.

Colin Firth starred as Gus Leroy, a stranger who appeared in Durham, a small township filled with run down shops and decaying warehouses. People were moving away to the big city until the arrival of the stranger who bought a warehouse and started running a business which promised a new lease of life to the town and its people.

These included the sheriff (Orlando Bloom) and former tobacco heiress Ellen Burstyn.

Answer: The Railway Man

The 2013 film "The Railway Man" starred Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Jeremy Irvine. It was based on the real life story of a British officer called Eric Lomax who was captured by the Japanese and made to build the Thai-Burma Railway along with other prisoners or war.

The young soldier was played by Jeremy Irvine, and his much older self was played by Colin Firth, persuaded by his wife many years later to re-visit the scene of his experiences including torture.

Many adaptations of "Great Expectations" have been filmed, but it was in the 2012 remake which we saw Jeremy Irvine star as Pip and Ralph Fiennes as Magwitch. The story told of young Pip, an orphan who became friends with a wealthy spinster called Miss Havisham, and her adopted daughter, Estelle. He also became embroiled with an escaped convict called Magwitch.
