ABBA obtained their group name from their Christian names. Their names are Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-Frid, and ABBA is an acronym of these. During their fame Agnetha and Benny were married to each other and Bjorn and Anni-Fred were married to each other.
Unfortunately neither marriage lasted; one ended in 1979 and the other in 1981 and the sadness of these break-ups is reflected in some of their later song lyrics.

The winner was also expected to sing on the most popular TV programme in the country at the time which was called "Hylands Horna". Luckily this was seen by most of the nation because it went out live on the day when the county changed from driving on the right to the left and were banned from driving that day.

Out of the four members of ABBA, she is the one who enjoyed the spotlight the most and the one who wanted a reunion the most.

Her third husband was Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss, but he died in 1999 of lymphoma, which is a type of blood cancer.
