I love the tremola effect of this song from the album "Bayou Country". It gives it an eerie ethereal feel. One of Fogerty's best songs and their 5th best seller.

From the album "Tusk". This has to be one of the prettiest songs ever. Lindsay Buckingham plays some mean acoustic guitar and Stevie's voice is absolutely perfect.

Off "Led Zeppelin II" from 1969. The 3rd verse has many references to the "Lord of the Rings trilogy." I love the mix of acoustic, metal, and slide guitars. I also think it is one of Plant's best vocals ever showing his range.

From their 5th effort "Fair Warning". One of the greatest metal albums ever. This song has to be Eddie's best example of his guitar work; he is all over the place on his leads, his rhythm changes are amazing, and he dubs 4 guitars on this track.

Originally released as a single, this song was re-released on the compilation album "Meaty, Beaty, Big, and Bouncy". One of my favs from the original bad boys of rock. A good mix of acoustic, electric, and even a little mandolin!

From "Big Generator". Excellent music, great lyrics, and four part harmonies...Yes is really one of the best groups. "Big Generator" was rated the highest ranking album of 1985 in "Guitar Magazine" by a poll of famous guitarists (i.e. Eddie van Halen, Steve Morse, Alex Lifeson, etc.).
