Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the lead singer of the band?

Answer: Danny Worsnop

Danny has been the lead vocals (clean and harsh) since the start of the "real" formation of Asking Alexandria in 2008.
2. What song is the phrase "Oh My God!" from, which the crowd yells out during concerts every time?

Answer: The Final Episode

OOHHH...MMMYYYY...GGGOOODDDD! Something real simple and unoriginal but it's part of "The Final Episode" that just stuck and at every live concert they do (well most anyway) the crowd yells out those famous three words during the song.
3. Asking Alexandria re-made a few songs from a 80's hair band; what 80s band was it?

Answer: Skid Row

Asking Alexandria wanted to grab the attention of other fans by doing re-makes of an awesome 80s hair band such as Skid Row. "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 & Life" were featured on their "Life Gone Wild" EP released in 2010. Sebastian Bach (lead singer of Skid Row) has even done a few live shows with them in the past.
4. What is the name given to their 2012 North American Tour?

Answer: The Still Reckless Tour

Had to add this in there since I saw them in concert during this tour. The tour features The Amity Affliction, Motionless In White, I See Stars, Trivium, and then of course Asking Alexandria. Dir En Grey was supposed to be part of the tour but something came up, what I do not know.
5. What YouTube show, starring a former professional wrestler, were Asking Alexandria a part of?

Answer: The Warrior Show

The infamous Warrior has a show on YouTube called "The Warrior Show" in which he features two bands: Asking Alexandria (Episode 1) and I See Stars (Episode 2). It's a short 30 minute episode of the Warrior putting the band members through harsh workouts and trying to make them change their ways of living...which I find hard for the Warrior to accomplish in just one night of yelling and what not.
6. What's the name of their 2013 release, which reached number five on the US Billboard Hot 200?

Answer: From Death to Destiny

The first album of the reformulated Asking Alexandria was "Stand Up and Scream", which was released in 2009.
7. Which member is the one that got the whole band started in the first place?

Answer: Ben Bruce

Ben got some of his buddies together in Dubai, UAE to start Asking Alexandria but it never worked out with the others. Ben carried the band name with him when he moved to London and picked up all new members to create the "now" Asking Alexandria. There are a few songs streaming through the internet that people get confused with the now AA and the old and not well known AA.

When Ben asked Danny (vocals) to join the band, Danny was recruited to be the guitar player but the band needed a vocalist so Danny took the ropes and has been doing it ever since.
8. What record company is Asking Alexandria signed with?

Answer: Sumerian Records

Sumerian Records signed AA to a deal sometime around the release of the "Stand Up and Scream" album in 2009. They have been with them ever since.
9. What pop song, featured on "Punk Goes Pop Vol. 3", did Asking Alexandria re-make?

Answer: "Right Now Na Na Na" (Akon)

"Punk Goes Pop" has several different series out featuring a number of bands doing re-makes of Top 40 songs that drive a lot of people like me nuts. "Punk Goes Pop" gives me a reason to actually enjoy the songs ha ha. I believe "Right Now (Na Na Na)" is the only pop-like song that Asking Alexandria has done.
10. What dub-step album did Asking Alexandria release towards the end of 2011, featuring mixed songs from the previous two albums?

Answer: Stepped Up and Scratched

Not a big fan of the whole techno/electro/dub-step type stuff but with some guitars, drums, and screaming going on...it ain't too bad. Korn, As I Lay Dying, and I See Stars have done the same or close to something like this before as well. Lots of people were freaking out thinking AA was switching to a straight up techno band...I don't know why people freak out so fast, obviously they're staying with the "real" music, they just wanted to switch things up one time. Sometimes a little change here and there isn't all that bad.
