Bon's real name was Ronald Belford Scott. When his family moved to Australia, his schoolmates called him the "Bonny Scot", and the name stuck.

Bon was an avid drummer in school, and originally auditioned to be the drummer for AC/DC. Bon originally did not want to front the band, but he was half-drunk one night, and when Dave Evans failed to turn up for a show, Bon seized the opportunity.

Answer: Fremantle, Australia
