Terry Riley, born in 1935, is a composer and performing musician. His album "A Rainbow in Curved Air" was released in 1969. Alexander Goehr is British, Pierre Boulez is French and Steve Reich American.

Sonja Kristina was born in Brentwood, Essex, England. She is also an actress and she joined the group in 1970. Elkie Brooks was the vocalist for the group Vinegar Joe, Christine Perfect was the vocalist of the group Chicken Shack and Julie Driscoll was the vocalist in Brian Auger's Trinity.

Darryl Way studied violin at the Dartington College of Arts. After leaving college he continued his studies at the Royal College of Music. He was the co-founder of Curved Air. After that he studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he won a Prize for his virtuosity in harpsichord and also started playing electric guitar. He along with Darryl Way are the co-founders of Curved Air. Francis Rossi is singer and guitarist with Status Quo, Robert Fripp was guitarist for King Crimson and Brian Eno was keyboard player with Roxy Music.

Robert Martin featured on bass guitar on Curved Air's first album. He left in 1970 and was replaced by Ian Eyre. Robert Palmer was a singer, John Entwistle played bass for The Who and Glenn Cornick for Jethro Tull.

Florian Pilkington-Miksa was born in Roehampton, South West London, England. His father was a Polish fighter pilot during WW2 and his mother English. Due to being the first vinyl picture disk, the album suffered due to surface noise. The album was released again as a normal vinyl with the picture disk on the album cover. This is known as the green label album because of the colour of the label. The album did quite well reaching number eight in the album charts in the UK. "Bent out of Shape" was by the group Rainbow in 1983, "Rainbow" was by the group McGuiness Flint in 1973 and "Midnight Rainbow" was by Joe Walsh in 1975.

The opening verses of the song are "Summer's comin', time to dream the day away /And she's so sunny is the girl you met today/Will she make it? Can she take it?/Like to try love, such a shy love". The song, in my opinion, is one of the best singles in the 1970's. "Walking on Sunshine" was by Katrina & The Waves, "Ventura Highway" was by America and "Cyprus Avenue" by Van Morrison.

Answer: Mike Wedgwood

Mike Wedgwood stayed with Curved Air until the summer of 1973 when they disbanded for the first time. Mike was born in Derby and has played with groups like The Overlanders and Caravan. He has also played as backing musician with Kiki Dee. Jack Bruce played bass for Cream, Geezer Butler for Black Sabbath and John-Paul Jones for Led Zeppelin.

Phantasmagoria was Curved Air's last album that featured Darryl Way and Francis Monkman who left the group along with drummer Florian Pilkington-Miksa. "Trick of the Light" is a song by The Who, "Tricks of the Light" is a song by Mike Oldfield and "A Trick of the Tail" is an album by Genesis.
