'People Are People' was released in March 1984. It was Depeche Mode's first release from their album 'Some Great Reward' and more importantly the first of their records to have success in the US. The single reached number four in the UK singles chart.

'Get The Balance Right' was the first single after Alan Wilde joined the band. It was released in January 1983 and reached thirteen in the UK singles chart.
