They were in the blockbuster hit "Titanic", where they appeared as the steerage band in the third class section. Rose and Jack (Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicapro) did a little foot dance to the tune "Hills of Conamara". If you look closely, you can see the band members, and they show a clear image of Patrick Murphy's hands playing the spoons!

2. Gaelic Storm's previous violinist, Samantha, was born where?

Answer: Africa

Interestingly enough, she was born in Africa, although she doesn't look it. She was a good violinist, and I was sad when she left. But Kathleen was cool, and then Bob too, I guess!

No, there was just the one and only Patrick Murphy, but there were two Steves: Steve Twigger and Steve Wehmeyer.

Yes! It's Patrick Murphy, although in the original version I believe it was Albert Mooney, who was in a previous line in this song.("Albert Mooney says he loves her, and all the boys are fightin for her..") The song is "Tell Me Ma" from their first CD.

"We're bound for South Australia". This is a great song from their second album, "Herding Cats". I believe it's about the criminals from Ireland that they sent to Australia because they didn't have enough room in the Irish jails, or something along those lines.

Daria Rose was born October 13, 2002. There is a picture of her Dad (Steve Wehmeyer) feeding her Guinness from a bottle on the Gaelic Storm website- it's cute! Shep also has a child.
