Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What song are these lyrics from? "If I asked you now, I know you wouldn't give it up."

Answer: In The City

Lyrics: "If I asked you now, I know you wouldn't give it up. If I asked you how, you'd give that look to kill. Know it gives you a chill. But oh it gives me a thrill to say, do you love me, do you love me, do you love me, little pretty? Yeah. Can you tell me, can you tell me, what's going on in the city?"

The album "This Time Around" was released in 2000 and was the anticipated follow-up album to "Middle of Nowhere".
2. What song song these lyrics from? "And I waited for you, and I waited for you."

Answer: Runaway Run

Lyrics: "And I waited for you, and I waited for you. Just a picture and a feeling and your face. How could forget your touch, your warm embrace? And those shoes you wore with long, black satin lace as you walked into my mind?"

While "This Time Around" was not as commercially successful as "Middle of Nowhere", it was well-received by critics and went on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide.
3. What song song these lyrics from? "Did you see the man with the cocaine load?"

Answer: Sure About It

Lyrics: "Did you see the man with the cocaine load? It's on sale for the price of your soul. And the man with the long trench coat? Wish you could hide in a big black hole."

This album marks the 7th album overall (including major-label releases, independent releases, live albums, and Christmas album) to be released while they were all still under 20. Isaac turned 20 six months after its release. They sure were busy!
4. What song song these lyrics from? "Do you know why I'd die?"

Answer: This Time Around

Lyrics: "Do you know why I'd die? Yeah-ah. You can't say I didn't give it. I won't wait another minute. We're on our way this time around."

This music video involved the guys breaking into an abandoned building and exploring it. And of course their friends came along!
5. What song song these lyrics from? "It's been raining here and I just want you to be near."

Answer: Wish That I Was There

Lyrics: "And you make feel, won't you take me when you're not here. It's been raining here and I just want you to be near."

Zac sings lead on this song. This song, along with two others ("Love Song" and "Hand in Hand") are the only three songs to have lead vocals from either Isaac or Zac. Isaac helps out though in the song "This Time Around".
6. What song song these lyrics from? "Please don't go, 'cause I need you now."

Answer: If Only

Lyrics: "If only I had the guts to feel this way. If only you'd look at me and want to stay. If only I'd take you in my arms and say, 'I won't go, 'cause I need you. Please don't go, 'cause I need you now.'"

For this music video, the guys can be seen riding four-wheelers in a desert.
7. What song song these lyrics from? "It's impossible to fight, I've tried."

Answer: Can't Stop

Lyrics: "Morning, day, or night, I tremble at your sight. It's impossible to fight, I've tried. Now you're in my head and your mind I've read. Could recite the words you've said, now I..."

This album only released two singles: "This Time Around" and "If Only".
8. What song song these lyrics from? "I'm like a gun, but I am low on ammunition."

Answer: You Never Know

Lyrics: "I speak these words, but baby you don't even listen. These things I say just go right through your head. I'm like a gun, but I am low on ammunition. I'm like a book that is waiting to be read."

The only single to chart in the US was "This Time Around", which peaked at #20.
9. What song song these lyrics from? "In the days to come, you'll say 'Why did I wait?'"

Answer: Dying To Be Alive

Lyrics: "And we all come tumbling down. No matter how strong, we all return to the ground. In the days to come, you'll say 'Why did I wait?'. You can't just leave your life up to fate. You gotta turn it around before it's too late."

Because of the low sales of "This Time Around", their label cut the funding of their summer/fall tour.
10. What song song these lyrics from? "You're the tar in that old cigar and the worn-out cable on a cable car."

Answer: A Song To Sing

Lyrics: "Blue yonder dreams and second hand shoes. You're so far gone that you live to close. And it's too late to go home all alone. You're the tar in that old cigar and the worn-out cable on a cable car and you're too tired to admit you've got to choose."

The band used their own money instead to tour in the summer/fall of 2000. Who says you need a major label backing you anyway?!
