Answer: Peter Cox
Go West are probably best known for their hit "King of Wishful Thinking" that was used in the movie Pretty Woman. Peter Cox formed Go West in 1982 along with guitarist, Richard Drummie.
2. Haircut 100
Answer: Nick Heyward
Formed in 1980, they had hits with "Fantastic Day" and "Love Plus One" amongst others. Nick Hayward was born in Beckenham in Kent in 1961 and went on to have some solo success with "Whistle down the wind".
3. Culture Club

"Karma Chameleon" was probably the best known record from this band with Boy George (real name George O'Dowd) as lead vocalist. George went on to release several solo records and also become a successful D.J.
4. Orange Juice

"Rip it up" was a great song from this Glasgow band. Edwyn continued on as a solo artist having success with the hot "A Girl Like You".
5. The Pretenders
Answer: Chrissie Hynde
Born in Akron, Ohio, Chrissie Hynde was the only constant member of The Pretenders. They had hits with "Back on the Chain Gang" and "2000 Miles" and many more. Chrissie Hynde went on to release songs in collaboration with Cher and Frank Sinatra amongst others. She was once married to Jim Kerr, the lead singer of Simple Minds.
6. Transvision Vamp

"I Want Your Love" and "Baby I don't Care" were their biggest British hits but they only had minor success in the USA. Wendy James also produced some solo work over the years. She notably released an album in 1993 called "Now Ain't the Time for your Tears" with the tracks written by Elvis Costello and Cait O'Riordan.
7. Deacon Blue

They released one of my favourite songs of the 80s with "Real Gone Kid". They are still writing and performing now.
8. Eurythmics

Annie Lennox was also with Dave Stewart in The Tourists. They released some great music in the 80s such as "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Love is a Stranger".
9. Kajagoogoo
Answer: Limahl
Limahl wasn't in Kajagoogoo for too long but was lead singer with their biggest hit "Too Shy". He was also known for his solo hit "The Neverending Story".
10. The Human League
Answer: Phil Oakey
Formed in Sheffield, The Human League produced some great songs including "Don't You Want Me" and "Mirror Man". Phil Oakey went on to work as a solo artist and also work in collaboration with Georgio Moroder. They worked together on the music for the movie Electric Dreams where the song "Together in Electric Dreams" became an international hit.
